I hear it spreads through internet forums.
The news is reporting that they weren't wearing Class 4 protection when dealing with the Ebola patient. That is why this nurse got infected. Not to mention she's only 26, under experienced.
This hospital doesn't seem to be very careful.
We cut NIH budgets so we can wage war. Ebola vaccines and treatments are the casualties.

Let's hope that this suit is at least appropriate to the conditions.Huge lawsuit in the making.
It is the same way here as far as the media is concerned. It makes the national news, when some one in Atlanta or Washington does not have ebola. Well I don't have ebola, and I have not been on the national news.We had our first Ebola scare last week, with a nurse returning from Africa admitted to Cairns hospital. In the end, she tested negative. But the bizarre thing was that the government held this up as proof that they could contain Ebola. How does that work? The nurse is admitted to hospital, put into quarantine, tested, and released when the results are negative. How does that demonstrate the health system's ability to handle Ebola, given that they've never dealt with it?

I can confirm this is true.I hear it spreads through internet forums.
Oh, an Ebola scare is certainly newsworthy. My issue is with the way the Health Minister thinks that dealing with not-Ebola proves that we can deal with Ebola. It is the same way here as far as the media is concerned. Here's one article I found. Last night ABC News did a piece about the gear (Saying it was sufficient) however all they examined was a gown, surgical mask, and face shield like the article points out. This is like putting up a cardboard wall to stop yourself from being hit by a car.Do you have a link? I couldn't find anything
In this article Prof Friedman suggests that the worker was suited correctly and that the contamination may have been when removing that suiting (he notes it's a difficult thing to do correctly).
How anyone can take a site like that seriously I will never know.
Oh look, another outlet saying it's "airborne" despite the text saying it isn't.
Currently reported is 4,447 deaths from this Ebola outbreak.
But a couple of days ago I saw Wolf Blitzer (master carnival barker, IMO) say the true figure is 5 to 6 times higher than this, based on CNN's in-house experts and two experts he had on air with him.
Agree with this? Or not?
My sister was in Guangdong during the flu outbreak and described seeing numbers of casualties hundreds of times higher than official figures in the 'provinces'. It's easy to believe that the Official Figure could be a little light. 5 or 6 times? Seems a-little-high-but-feasible.
EDIT:
And the real madness has begun; we're told by a Ghanaian nurse that Ebola isn't real but rather a mechanism to allow western forces access to diamond reserves/Boko Haram.
Source.
It's very obvious this hospital has no idea what they're doing, how could they? Two of the nurses tasked with cleaning up Duncan's wastes get sick because the hospital didn't have them wearing the proper safety gear. The gear they're wearing doesn't even protect against the flu! This is why Nina Pham is being moved to Maryland for treatment, and Amber Vinson is being moved to Atlanta. Only the CDC and military are capable of fighting Ebola properly. How anyone can take a site like that seriously I will never know.

Did you happen to read my post or just hit reply without looking? How does what you said have anything to do with what I said? It's very obvious this hospital has no idea what they're doing, how could they? It utter rubbish. You've just said that no scientist, doctor, or nurse that doesn't work for the CDC or military can fight Ebola properly. And frankly, how do you know that the hospital is to blame? Perhaps they were instructed to wear safety gear and refused or ignored the warning. Perhaps they were misinformed by an individual who does not represent the hospital. You're stating things that you can't possibly back up with any real evidence. Let's stick to the facts rather than making outlandish allegations.Only the CDC and military are capable of fighting Ebola properly.
