I disagree.

One of the few modern Ferrari designs that I actually like. More than like, in fact...

Considering Ferrari hasn't made a good looking car since the late 80's. I do not have hope for this car, and that render doesn't help.

I actually agree with this. The 599 looks goofy as was said, and I honestly think the 458 is overhyped. It actually doesn't look all that spectacular.

The 599 looks great at any angle apart from the front, which looks odd. That said I'm not a great lover of the front of the 575/550 it replaced, which had a larger overhang than Michael Schumacher's chin. I love the 458 though.

I hope the design of the F70, despite the amazing technology underneath, won't be entirely dictated by physics. Most older Ferrari's are like Art, but since the F40 their design has been based too much on function. The sketches on the previous page had too many creases and wings/vanes for my liking.

The 550/575 is my favorite Ferrari though besides a 330P4.

EDIT

The 599 was abit bloated looking for me while the Marranello was alot more sleeker and aggressive .

This has turned into a Ferrari styling thread again

For me, like the 599, everything else looks great (I even bought a rather nice Burago model of the 550). Ferrari just seems to have a problem tying the front of their cars to the rest of their design. The 612 is another example of this. Still i wouldn't say no if someone offered me one :sly:

I'm not a big 599 fan. I loved it until I saw it in person, where it looked really...unispiring. It's pretty, but it didn't capture my heart like a Ferrari should. The 355 is probably my favourite recent Ferrari when it comes to exterior design. It's not paticulary original, bbespoke looking, or epic, but I love it.

I was the other way round, didn't think much till I saw one in person and ever since I've loved the way the 599 looks. Especially in dark grey metallic.

For me the p4/5 and the 250 GTO are the nicest looking Ferraris.

OT, I hope it looks better than the P1 as that to me just doesn't look right :P

I disagree.
I respect your opinion, but I disagree. But since we're battling opinions, ( GRRR! ) The 599 is forgettable. It's the Toyota Camry of modern Ferrari's.

Compared to a 288 GTO? MEH. Even the 599 GTO. MEH.

Considering Ferrari wanted nothing to do with the Glinkenhaus' P4/5 it doesn't actually count.

Yep, Grigio Silverstone is the color of choice for this car:

It is not obvious to look at, you have to look it twice to realize it's lines, it does look better in person, although it has to be said : These things look massive, they're very very long and quite wide as well but still manage to look very elegant and clean.

One of Ferrari designs that I honestly don't care much about is the Modena, looks pretty uninspiring and even worse since it had to succeed the 355, which did set the design bar pretty high.

Fair enough, I also quite like the F430 even though many don't.

I thought it was signed off by Di Montezemelo as a true Ferrari, but he objected to the racecar and refused to have anything to do with it (hence why it runs on a second hand F430 chassis, not the Enzo based chassis in the road car).

Anyway I'm looking forward to the reveal. I'm hoping this will knock the shine off of the McLaren P1.

Tweet from Edmund's chief editor claims that the official name would be LaFerrari..

I like it. very close to how I imagined it. Can't wait to see this perform.

Fellas, this car could be called Cockandballs Juggler, and I would still want one. Check out the site, the information there is awesome. This car is quite amazing.

Still not so keen on the "scallops" on the sides, but I know the aerodynamic need for them. I do like Ferraris treatment of them better than the new Mclaren though. It is also a million times better looking than that fugly new Lambo! Make mine black please 👍
