Those better be fairly early. Those textures, especially on the McLaren nose, aren't brilliant.

I am certain thats an early shot, I have definately seen it before a while back.

Gfx are not a problem they look great. First shot of Mercedes looks beautiful but I think MS helmet is not perfect. The gameplay should be good

One of the devs on the Codies forums stated that the final lighting had not been put into Monaco at the time of that shot so it doesn't look quite right.

Looks like someone leaked the official tv ad. Make sure your volume is zero as the sound is messed up.

Night shot of the Macca is superb.

Some new screen shots have appeared.

That will need concentration not to crash

Oh man, they haven't used the rain effect that F1:CE used, have they?

That was my only major gripe about that game.

Supposedly the weather will be accurate down to 30cm sections of the track. Grip on the road, water etc, its definatley more sophisticated than F1:CEs.

I just hope they don't overdo it like if you race at spa and it will always turn to rain. I would prefer something like a 50 per cent chance of it happening

Ok this is a bit off topic but if it rains at Monaco, what do they do? Do they pour water in the tunnel to stop the tyres wearing?

Don't think so. The devs have often talked about the need to find the wet part of the track on a drying track to make sure you keep your tyres cool. But I think the cars will drag water throught the tunnel anyway.

Two things:
a) Twenty-four would be a maximum number.
b) If I were Codemasters, I'd equalise the cars a little to make the backmarkers more appealing.

It was actually confirmed quite a while back that it'll be a maximum of 12 players online. I'm not certain if this was for PC as well though.

I can't remember where I saw it but I read somewhere that if you pick lower cars, you get points of some sorts for beating cars that are alike. Like a Lotus beating a Virgin gets 100 points, but if you beat Toro Rosso you get 200 points

Shaggy Alonso, I think your right

That would be brilliant.

"And it's Damon Hill in the Williams! This car is absolutely unique! Apart from the car behind it, which is identical"

And "With half of the race complete, there is still half of the race to go!"
Genius. Where is he now?

Is there any word if there will be a safety car in the game?

Don't mention the Safety Car! Been done to death over on the official forums, it wasn't pretty! It's of the things they are hoping to include in the next game but the devs said they didn't have time for this version, didn't think it was as important as some of the other features they wanted to include.

Though moisture should be carried in to the tunnel, be interesting to see how it plays.

I would think it should do that, if the track evolution system is as in depth as they claim (30cm's etc) then it should be carried through, the tunnel will certainly become a unique challenge in the wet.

really bad, this year the SC decided almost half of the races, it becomes an extra rilevant element in an f1 race.
