F1 2015!F1 2010-2016

Does the engineer listen to commands over the headset or do I need to have a PS4 camera?
No the headset works don't worry !
You can configure it so that he responds through the headset too, or through the pad speaker or the main sound output.

Nice grass on the last one, but that Caterham though, be it on ultra or on low it's still ugly !

Do you have rain shots ? Because I had a rainy session in Melbourne since my previous statements on graphics and the game is really not impressive in the wet on PS4. It's just slightly better than previous iterations to be honest.

This game looks great, but am I the only one who thinks the curb sounds are somewhat annoying? I know they might be trying to go for "realism" with their curbs sounds, but it's kind of strange to me.

I'm talking about this sound here: about 1:17 in

If the sound annoys you be glad not to feel the vibrations too ! :D

There's no graphics card in the world that can fix the ugliness of the 2014 cars

This game... Yep, looks like im playing this for a while..

All aboard the Hamilton train! xD

*Hamilton had a front right punture, thanks Codemasters to allow us to watch ohter cars on replays!*

Also a small thing that has been overlooked. The pit monitor. Finally we can watch other cars qualifying like in the GP3 and GP4 days.

From the screenshots and videos (even the trailers) project cars definitely has this game done on the graphics front.

It's disappointing that they didn't do better considering its for a major sport. Reviews are looking like solid 6/7's out of 10 so far as well.

Personally I prefer the look of F1 2015. pCars relies to heavily on fancy effects in my opinion. It looks good don't get me wrong but I feel F1 2015 looks more real and more authentic.

Codemasters have fallen short regarding the graphics. PCARS looks sharper, and has a more realistic look than F1 2015, which has an unnatural washed-out pastel look -- similar to the previous Codemasters F1 games. PCARS also has a lot more texture detail on and around the track. F1 2015 looks too clean. It doesn't look bad, but should look a lot better.

Also a small thing that has been overlooked. The pit monitor. Finally we can watch other cars qualifying like in the GP3 and GP4 days.

That's a nice touch.

Tracks and weather are arguable but the cars are much more detailed in F1 2015 than in pCARS (on PS4).
There are also mechanics in the pits and a lot of engineers on the pit wall, it makes the pit lane more lively. Not blaming pCARS but it has an impact on performances so it counts.

And no splitscreen? That would be the only reason to buy it. Seems like we are stuck with F1 2011 for proper splitscreen.

I'll just do the single races (aka career) in pcars

FFB issues, an annoying blur that can't be disabled, progress bugs, crashing when benchmarking, the list goes on like that.

Basically, as far as the PC goes, find early complaints on any of the CM F1 games and apply it 2015. It's amazing they still haven't learned.

I did hear the blurring can be almost turned off, just use smaa aliasing. It's a similar problem to what pcars had with the temporal aliasing.

seems like it's a bug fest like project cars.. not even the right position is displayed and you'll find out how you finished just when crossing the line..

A lot of the reviews seem to be negative because of the lack of content.

Here's how I'm currently seeing this game:

-60fps for the first time in the series. Frame rate changes a game completely. This is a fantastic addition.

-everything built from scratch, and it's so obviously the case looking at gameplay. The tracks look fantastic, the engines actually slid as they should, and it seems I'm hearing only good things about the physics.

People that are more fussed on content than how the game itself plays need to be asking themselves why the bloody hell they are playing it in the first place.

I intend to buy this game.

I know Codemasters said the game the game was "built from scratch" but it looks too similar to their previous F1 games to be a new build. Clearly the lighting has been enhanced and it now runs at 60FPS at full HD, but otherwise it's the same engine.

From gameplay videos I can see content is new.

Unfortunately, cuatro corners were cut.

Sorry the game is this, the cutted curbs were 3 not 4... This game isn't perfect in penaltys so, is very pointless make a clean lap and see other people cut everywhere and do the best time... The cutted curbs in this video are nothing compared to other people who in the standings are at the top! So keep calm, and if you want a real simulator, get a PC, get a F1 mod from rfactor or assetto corsa and have fun. This video was a demo... In Hotlap mode so, peace!

I've been reading that corner cutting is a problem with this game. It was still a good lap though and better than I could do. Well done.

After much debate, i bought the game today. The lack of game mode suggests a lack of effort by codemasters. Having the option of running the 2014 season/cars is not a good substitute for game modes.

I'm sorry but it really isn't. Until you have played it then reserve your opinion. This is a new engine. All the assets have been rebuilt in the new engine and it doesn't take long at all to understand that when playing. This is a new game, end of.
