You sure are right regarding the small news :) Looks exciting regarding the new 3D modeling. But we haven't even seen the 2013 cars yet so it's still to early for the rumors. Looking forward to see Lotus' car on Monday for the 2013 season.

At the PSstore, for plus members F1 2012 and F1 race stars seem to be free, or is just " the full game trial" free_? I didn't understand the difference, because my first language is not English. If it is so, I want to buy a 90days plus membership..
Can someone look at it please.. Thanks.

Sandman: if at all, which FXAA injector did you use? SweetFX? InjectFX? Could you post settings, if so? There's an HD track pack available on RD as well, check my thread if you didn't see it yet.

Due to Grid 2 running on the new EGO 3.0 engine (looks heaps better than 2.0), do you guys think the new F1 will run on it? Or is it a bit late in the development to switch.

Well they didn't create Grid overnight so they must have created the engine a good half a year or more ago. Maybe the plan was always to use the engine for F1 2013. Always hope for newer engines and progress and not just the same old games like the sort of thing Cod does.

F1 Race Stars has a TRIAL for PS+, and F1 12... I didn't see anything in the store that said it was free for PS+...

I guess they ain't bro.
 
I hope they fix the steering on F1 2013 for steering wheel users, in 2012 turning into the first corner at monza its such a pain in the a**! You have to slow right down to avoid going off the track and as a result, hold up the grid and likely get a penalty. F1 2011's steering was much better.

Unless I'm useless at it. :yuck:

It was free back in February I think it was. Race Stars was one of the selected free games for PS+, was one of the reasons I bought plus. Game was £20 odd everywhere, plus was £40 for a year. Made sense with all the other stuff on top.
 
I dont care, if it the same like 2012 ill buy it. But i only want 1 thing back. And that is World Championship mode. I mean whats the point if you cant select your favourite driver and play full season?? I dont want to play as me!!!
That is a stupid mistake from CM. Every F1 game in history had this, but CM are stupid to remove the main thing.
Its like they are (CM) a car manufacturer, they make cars but they dont give brakes with it!!!
I mean WTF!!!

If it has Championship mode its good, if not it will be CM s own fault that they wont get my money. And im not even asking for simulation, DLC... no just a simple thing that was in previous F1 games

Personally i want more interactive paddock and for example an ability to chat with your teammate&other drivers or race engineer etc.. as for gameplay,handling could be an mixture from 2012 and 2011 versions..better graphics would be nice too..although i'm almost enjoying them in 2012 version :)

Oh,let's not forget the interviews and press thingy after races&qualifying..

Ps.sorry for posting my "wishlist" here.. just my 2 cents on what cm could improve in their next F1 game :)

I'm not entirely sure that's a good idea; I mean, just imagine the exchanges between Vettel and Webber? All too quickly the game would end up 'Adult' rated! :lol:

Anyway, serious time now. I have loved the CM Series of F1. They have so far done a fantastic job, but like I always say to my friends; Sports games (OR Auto Sports games) are always difficult to make better than the last one. Other games can go a completely different direction, but sports games are limited to how much change they can make.

In my opinion, all they need to do is add a cool new feature or two. It also doesn't take too much to impress people with a sports type game. People will buy it solely because it's the newest year game. Improved MP would be good for CM, make it a bit more like GRiD 2. GRiD 2 has many new features and CM made it better than the first one. It's not that different, but for me I just heard the title and knew I had to pick it up.

So, Thoughts for F1 2013 potential new features;

- One thing they could do is a very detailed "Superstar" Mode (Like in Madden or MLB games) Create your character, etc. They have done this, but make it much more detailed.

- Create your own team (Manager Mode) Put it all into one; Make your own team, recruit drivers, car downforce/settings, etc.

That's all I've got so far, 2 good ideas.

On twitter they're saying the same as last year, they will release info nearer the release.

They are hoping to do a reveal at the start of July if the forum is anything to go by.
 
Its unknown, since F1 games are usually released in September, unless they delay it for the new consoles then it would be stupid to call it a 2013 game with the next season right around the corner.
 
Well the way I am thinking this is that if CM are making the game for current generation consoles then they should have announced something by now. By E3 last year we had in game footage of Austin. Unless CM are planning something special, they are definitely making it for next generation consoles.
