This is with the Boost Kit(8Nm), which means from 480 to 600€.
So theres a 120euro premium for the ps version I gather... Asked before but would there be a noticable difference between using a csl dd with a gimx adapter or drivehub versus a ps specific dd base?

I ditched the GT wheel and have been using a Porsche GT3 wheel in GT Sport, which worked great, every button except the rotary encoders works in GT Sport. Now GT7 is out, I find it really disappointing that the left joystick stopped working because the game only accepts buttons on the standard GT wheel, which doesn't have a joystick.
I hope that GT7 will be updated in the future to support mapping functionalities by pressing the buttons like in F1 and ACC, rather than mapping buttons on limited wheel layouts to functionalities. Probably never gonna happen…

Just got the same email.
Im in America, and ordered the gt DD pro premium bundle on Feb 9th, just got an email from fanatec saying the load cell cargo ship from china has been delayed, thus the whole bundle has been delayed until April 7th. Guess the t-300 needs to hold up for one more month.
I just cancelled my order and reordered without the load cell and a set of V3 pedals. Everything is in stock and just got a notification that my order will ship shortly. Cost a little more but the load cell is what is causing the delay. And cargo ships could be held up for who knows how long.

Same here. I did an emergency order of V3 pedals yesterday and just got the notice that it's being processed. However I left my CSL load cell order open. I plan to keep the CSL set as a backup in case anything happens to the V3s.

Ah thanks, it looks like Fanatec changed the actual pedals themselves on the regular V3 though. Those look like the ones that are on the inverted V3s which I like better.

Is there any issue cancelling an order with Fanatec? I'm thinking of doing the same thing and not waiting for the load cell kit with the regular pedals.

Edit: Well I guess they have pictures of each for both the regular V3 and inverted. Do they each come with the pedals as show in that youtube video screenshot or do you have to buy those separately?

Been messing about with the settings in GT7 to try to get more FFB detail. Tried the recommended settings. Meh.

Anyone have some alternate settings

I suspect the stand alone base will not be available until demand for the bundles dies down
and supply has a chance to catch up, why sell just the base when you can make more money selling bundles
once Fanatec has sufficient bases in stock, I think we will see them for sale, I hope

@HugoTwoWheels have you adjusted your settings from GTS?
No, I use exactly the same as before. Fanatec recommended but INT 1 and NDP Off (a bit more detail/quickness, but always hold the wheel firmly to avoid oscillation/injury). FF can be adjusted so it's as light as possible but still let's you feel everything.

I still run ABS only and have no issues feeling the limit and driving consistently.
And yes, I love the new physics engine. And yes, I understand why people have issues with it (poor settings or poor skill).

I dunno, I feel like bundles are catered more towards "regular customers" that want an easy solution. You buy GT7 and you get a bundle that just works.

I don't think many consumers are willing to build their own setup manually.

Seems crazy that they really didn't explain pre-release just how much the physics have changed. I have a lot more trouble, but I love it!

I also feel like the differences between cars are much bigger. You can't just jump in a new car and nail it like I feel like you could in GTS.

Yep, I was hugely surprised too. Positively.

You can even feel slight tuning changes. It's ****ing great.

All GT DD PRO bundles are available in Australia, I'm not sure I have seen go back to pre-order yet, and everyone I know that ordered one got them mid Feb. No stock issues here :-), it's all Sony, Fanatec would be selling more gear if they could, and heaps of people with existing kit won't buy the bundle.

The joystick does work on the GT3 Endurance module in GT7. It only works in certain pages where scrolling and things are needed though. Same as with the controller itself. The joystick also works while driving to look in different directions in cockpit view.

Would definitely be cool if Fanatec would work with PD to allow more switches and things to be used but with GT Sport and GT7 the right Funky switch pretty much handles everything you need in GT games. Really easy to use it to switch to different MFD pages while driving. You can remap different settings using the CSL Elite mapping adjustment, it will take whatever PS inputs match and allow you to change them in game.

Any recommendations for a second wheel as a replacement for the GT DD Pro wheel? I dislike the plastic feel a bit and was looking at the McLaren wheel or maybe the Clubsport F1. Was wondering if someone has already played with this on GT7 and knows about the compatibility and general feel. Thanks!

I got the McLaren GT3 v2 as a second wheel with the GT Pro package. Works fine on GT7, but not all buttons on the wheel can be used, so you loose some functionality, for example no L2 and R2. But you have the triangle etc, R3 and L3, share, options and PS button. [ EDIT: And the left, right, up and down of the funky switch is your d-pad; rotary no input; push is same as x-button]. In this user manual you can see which buttons have been mapped for PlayStation.

Note that it is rubber too, not leather or alcantara - apparently the same material as used on the real world wheel; feels great to me.

Thank you for sharing that experience! How do you compare it to the GT wheel?

It has a better feel in the hand; it's a subjective thing, but for me probably a combination of the better rubber and bigger diameter. Shifter paddles need slightly more force to operate, but got used to it pretty quickly.

Early days, but I think I'll use the GT Pro wheel for GT7 (it was made for it, so seems sensible :)) and the McLaren for PC2 and ACC.

Was wondering if there's people that have a regular power supply connected instead of the 150euro boost kit and can confirm that it works properly?
