That sucks very much with router the problems netroy.

No I dont drive on the pc wilso I need first a good pc and A license to drive in this World Championship.

I know immortal I'm trying to do my best the problem and that I should contact vodafon to open the nat 2. I'm still playing in bspec and the connection was good I was able to race without problems until around 14 then my cat ....

That was such a sad race for me. I had such a great (uncharacteristically) qualifying. I got lucky missing trouble early, and had a good cushion 2/3 into the first stint. Yet again though, I was burning through fronts and could not fend off anyone. I was sitting pretty in 6th/7th and somehow end up 12th. I should have just given up on the 3 stop strategy; which turned into 4 anyway. I believe this is the first race I've run in this series where I didn't at least receive one point (aside from a DC).:grumpy:👎

Netroy, Season 2 I had bad internet because squirrels ate my cable from the line to my house; so I know how pesky animals can be when they get ahold of your internet connection.

Interesting race to say the least. I hope the stewards are looking at the replay.

Anyway yet again here is the video of the race.

The race starts at just after the hour.

Here is the Twitch video if you can't see it on youtube.

Enjoy!

The 15th place Ghost has now been removed:

All the cars in GT5 have apparently been hacked. Anybody here of this? Probably a good idea to set the weight min at 560 kg/726 hp to be sure nobody is able to cheat.

AFAIK none of them can be hacked within reason, HP is always off the charts. Would be hard neigh impossible for someone to fly under the radar using a hex edited save.

Speaking of... Oshawa why aren't you sharing those anymore?

I did wonder if you would award yourself a penalty.

I did wonder if you would award yourself a penalty.

The tap I saw was a racing incident. As you note later in the race, passing there is risky business.

I'm not sure how the other stewards work, but I have informed them of my own infractions in the past. Before they came to light from the other party too. My turn 1 debacles didn't need to be mentioned, they were obvious. Knowing how aggressive Mr. Artmannn is with backmarkers at times I doubt he gave the contact a second thought. He's drunk too you know; probably thought he hit a small woodland creature and forgot you were back there.

But I wasnt a backmarker at that point. I was racing him.

Redbull Race 1 Highligths (Stock and Tuned)

The first races in Stock and Tuned league has been driven.

Indy Road Course Stock Leauge Race

RedBull Racing had three drivers in the lineup for the first stock race at Indy Road course, Aughablo, Dahlzi and Junior driver Pola3Fox.

Aughablo

RedBull driver Aughablo sat an early pace, taking the lead and was pushing hard. He finished the race in an excellent 2nd position, claiming 18 points. Aughablo was only 19 sec behind Immortal, good driving by the Frenchman.

Dahlzi didn't find the perfect rhythm at Indy, but was capable of claiming the 6th position. He lost out a good fight against top driver GTP_GhostDriver in the fight for 5th.

Pola3Fox was driving his first leauge race, he will not be able to score manufactures points throughout the season. He was driving fast and gained a lot experience in his new F1. He finished 13.

A good start on the F1 Ferrari stock championship for RedBull racing.

Grand Valley Tuned Leauge Race

The Lineup for RedBull Racing at Grand Valley was the two top drivers Dahlzi and Rajhan. This was going to be an superb start for the team.

Dahlzi

Norwegian flags was waving high when Dahlzi gained four positions from starting 6th and climbing to 2th at the first stint.
He was pushing hard the whole race and finished in 2th just 18 sec behind race winner Immortalpilot.

Rajhan was showing good pace the whole race, he was fighting hard all the way and claimed 4th position.
Raj was only 10 sec from a podium, a great performance by the Great Britain driver.

Two RedBull drivers in top four is more then expected!

RedBull Racing is looking forward to second race in both Championships.
good racing, by RedBull.

Im in a room with a guy who has a black F10. I hope this modding business dont ruin the game.

Well if change the color is all he did that would make the WC alot more cool to run team colors.

From what I have been told it is some kind of hack. You have to edit a HEX file I believe. I'm loving the different colors though. I can't stand that we're all in the same car with only a helmet to determine who is who. I would really like to know how to do this w/o too many negative side effects.

Have heard of theese hacks, but not sure how they do it.
Editing a HEX file for the GT5 would in my mind be almost impossible to do, atleast to get it able to use drive online.

But i must say, that it gets "boring" with 16 red F1s flying around the track. so if its possible to do this without ruining the whole point of F1, i think its cool.

Thats very cool, its a real shame the things PD have done to limit this game. Stupid Codemasters and their understeer/arcade physics.

Setup GVS reverse Penalties
Hi There guys,

As there has been much talk and discussion with regards to Sundays race, this was one of the hardest races to decide on whether certain people deserved penalties or not.

CasNuerburg and GTP_jb both get stern a warning for trying to unlap themselves behind cbastjan on laps 30 and 32 respectively. Please note that even if you are faster than the car that has lapped you, you MUST take precaution in unlaping yourself and ONLY on the lap after the leading car crosses the start/finish line.

lap 38 turn 1 incident involving cbastjan and RajHaN, the stewards decided that it was a racing incident as that is a tight corner for 2 cars to go side by side, so no further action.

lap 10 turn 1 incident involving ArtMannn and gazziboy, the stewards decided that it was a racing incident as that is a tight corner for 2 cars to go side by side, so no further action.

In future, please note that car on the inside always has the right of way and it is up to that driver to decide how much room to leave for the car on the outside. It is however ungentlemanly to not leave enough room or for cars overtaking or being overtaken as this aggressive type of driving will leave someone in tears.

We also noticed a few people ignoring blue flags, we are season 4 now so there is no need to go through this again. We will start to give big penalties to those that ignore blue flags from here on now.

Thank you.

@warning/unlapping
ok.
Fist I have to admit, that this was an uncomfortable situation.
It was nice to be faster, but what to do? So I tried (twice).

Just to make it clear and to avoid it in future:
was it because:
  • it was the wrong lap?
  • I tried twice?
  • the way I overtook the second time and he spun me?

Edit: What when I`m lapped during a pit stop?

Hey Cas, i know what you are saying and here is what you should have done.

  • No it wasn't the wrong lap as you caught up with him before he made a pit stop.

  • You tried twice but definitely in the wrong places, those are tight fast corners and cbastjan had worn tyres so he couldn't even leave you enough room if he wanted. He also had track position over you so he could place his car anywhere he wanted and it was up to you to make a clean move, preferably off the racing line as you had more grip.

  • If i remember correctly, you first pushed him into the wall when you tried the inside line just after the bridge. And like i said before, he was on worn tyres so even if he had full lock, he wouldn't have been able to leave you enough room on the outside.

I also saw him get pushed off the same corner the following lap, not sure if it was you and him again, i'll have to look at it again.

When it comes to to being lapped during a pitstop, then the car that has lapped you is already gone. Maybe i don't understand you question. If you mean that both you and the car that lapped you leave the pits at the same time, there is a good chance that you won't be able to catch up with them and even if you do, you need to wait for the following lap and only unlap yourself if you are faster, without making contact and off the racing line, and not slowing down the car in front of you.

Ahem You have missed out the other 3 incidents where I WAS TAKEN OUT. Just incase you missed that I wrote it in caps. On lap 14, Safeway went wide, hit the wall and took me out. He waited though so fairplay. Mustard took a dive down the inside and pushed past me on lap 28. He didn't pass cleanly. Sick assassin also took a turn one dive down the inside on lap 39 and off I went.

👎

I sense that the decision making process is bias. Maybe towards me or maybe in general. Artman isn't really going to award himself a penalty now is he. Even though in my first races on season 2, similar thing happened where I tried to overtake and ended up taking him out, and I ended up getting a stern warning for being too adventurous. I can't understand why (from the last race) that when I get taken out that the offender gets nothing.

I hope you stewards will re-look at the replay from the last race and re-evaluate your decision.

Hey guys

I must admit that the turn one @GVSR is almost an anomaly, where it is rare that two cars side-by-side can enter and exit comfortably. Therefore I concede the action of a racing incident.

Yet, as for the following statement, 'the car on the inside always has right of way and it is up to that driver to decide how much room to leave for the car on the outside' i find incomprehensible.

As the FIA explains, “We don’t want to get into silly arguments about centimetres so we’ve decided the defending driver must leave at least one car width on the racing line otherwise he will be judged to have made a second move and penalised accordingly. We need to have drivers giving each other space on the track – otherwise we risk dangerous collisions.”

Again, i'm merely analysing this so as to avoid certain situations which may occur in the future.

OK! Understood.Accepted.

@pushing:
Did not push him, he just went wide. ( but cbastian could tell better )
