Guys, have you played F1 2012 in changing weather? LOL, it will start belching rain with blue/sunny skies & not a cloud in sight. Other times it will stay dry with what appears to be dark, thunderstorm rolling in which lowers the track temp but without a drop of rain.

So guys, it's my birthday today. How about giving me one lap head start (Immortal, I'll need two from you) tomorrow?

Also, it's daylight savings for the US tomorrow. Check the start time if in US.

Happy Birthday!

Mine is on the 20th.....just allow me to use the F2007on the Nürburgring!

Spa should be 44 laps. Sitting there for 75 minutes is definitely long enough for me... No need to go farther than GP!

My birthday was on the 6th. How about I drop on by today if there's room? I'm not going anywhere (I hope) and I'd love to race with you guys again.

Again, for US Drivers I want to re-iterate, that the start time will be one hour "later" than usual due to the time change. According to the OP time link it's 6PM for Eastern.

That said, Immortal we have to be diligent at starting on time. If we do our normal 5 lap practice on the hour then we'll never get to the new Qualifying room on time. With the "new" time I will be getting perilously close to kid's bed times (and a mad wife!!! the worst part) if we start 45 min late like usual. Us old people got responsibilities and stuff.

I understand his desire to start and finish a big grid, but we are into Season 4. We have quite a talented field this time around. We can handle it. I promise not to rage quit/pit.

While saying that; Gazzi, bigtex, RaJhaN and myself were in a room and I had the rain on pretty high; the result was not so fun. BTW: bigtex is a rain master, don't let him hustle you and race for money. I'll agree a high percentage of surface water is a nightmare, but I think we could find a setting for each track (it seems like they respond to the same settings differently). This setting would hopefully never get the surface water over 40%, and hover around 10-25% right at the point where a choice has to be made. I just want more strategy excitement and unexpected pits. Since we can't yet do the two tire strategy we need something to think about in the cockpit every now and again.
I agree that wet weather conditions will make it interesting with the pit strategies and everything. I also agree with IMMORTAL that we will get a lot of rage quits when people get lapped early on in the race or spin 6 times in one lap. So i neither for or against the wet races. One other important thing to remember is that the race length will be close to 2hrs maybe even more if it rains throughout.

Join the club with the kids bed time, i have to do it every Sunday, thats why sometimes you see me parked in the pits during qually or i only do 1 stint (when the kid is not smearing s:censored:t just before bed) I havent done a low fuel qually in a while but that's ok, and also have to get my drinks bottle(S) lined up before the race starts.

Second World Championship Race Suzuka 45 Laps
10.03.2012
21:00 UTC - Free Practice (optional)
22:00 UTC - Qualifying (if you miss the end of qualifying you can start from the back)
22:30 UTC - Actual Race

In USA is now one hour later now ?

I would like it very much killa but we must hope there is enough space for you mate.

My best lap so far is 1:28.7

How many times will I get lapped this race?
Good lap, but remember that Suzuka is very tough track and consistency pays off here more than anywhere else, 3 spins and you will need an extra pit stop.

Pretty ridiculous. I should have left after all.

First, too many people are too eager about qualifying. I got spun twice and needed new tyres each time. One of those times, I had to go backwards so I could reach the pits and set a lap before time ran out.

During the race itself, there were just too many people making ridiculous overtakes. Each overtake involved major contact and on 2 occasions I spun.

Not only that, but other people who crashed tried to rejoin the track immediately; without looking for oncoming cars.

I'm glad I got disconnected that early. I can't imagine how much more pathetic driving was going to destroy me.

Sorry. I'm going somewhere where people race CLEAN.

First race that I had a normal start.👍

But then it went downhill. I´m too stupid to follow closely.
Oh, closing gaps is what I´m good in, but overtaking....:ouch:

Following Art...:ouch:

It was so close 4 laps to go with s1ck but again....:ouch:

Good racecraft toolo!

Only gazzi did have less luck on the last laps. :indiff:

:D but no big deal, since the last race here 2 months ago, my best was a 1.31,xyz!!!
And you guys lapped my 5 times.
