Oh my God! Finally they're fixing the reverse settings bug.

"Adjusted the changes in control characteristic when altering vehicle height from standard height. (Vehicle height can be changed by adjusting ride height, either by installing a suspension kit or adjusting a full customizable suspension kit.)"

I'm not certain what this means, but I don't see anything relating simply to the reversed settings bug.

The way I read it is that it is a physics update; an improvement of the "control characteristic" which is resulting from and affected by an adjustment to ride height.

Though of course if they do not fix the settings options it would be madness.

Hopefully this is the most noteworthy of a number of (otherwise undocumented) physics improvements.
Time for some "before and after" comparisons I think.

My thoughts exactly.
For how long we must wait for them to fix that bug that makes the cars look stupid????!?!?
If you use extreme settings of ride height anyway. :dopey:

At nurburgring GT3 type cars get 8 - 10 laps per set of tires, not 3 laps as has been the case. If they fix that good. Since PD makes a big presence at the 24 hr race they should get this right.

Le Mans LMP1 cars get 11.5 laps per stint.

Ha, finally an update
Response of the clutch pedal when using the steering wheel controllers “G25 Racing Wheel”, “G27 Racing Wheel”, “T500RS” and “TH8RS” has been adjusted.

I still have a feeling that the reason why it took them 5+ years to come out with the game is that they actually made GT6, but due to hardware limitation on PS3, they have to drop some of the feature off and disable cars interior to make it standard for example. But with that they have on their end, it's a full HD data. With Kaz, he is ambitious, so he wants all the feature in his game, but took longer then what they expected. So they just have to roll out what they have currently and make that as GT5. ( Still not bad though )
So for them to make GT6 is nice and easy, since they have got almost what they need, just tweaks/add new stuff...etc

Err No. That's fuel only. They triple or even quadruple stint the tyres at Le Mans.

Group C used to run for an hour on fuel and tyres. That's 16 laps.

PD would have to fix the tyres a lot to sort that out.

Huh? Help me out here I thought you said they were making gt6 but because of limitations on ps3 they released gt5.

So they were going to skip 5 and make 6? Im confused.

What I got out of that is that they had already built a much better GT game with more features, 1000 premium cars with interiors ready to go but had to cut 800 of them out because of PS3 limitations.

No, I don't. I was posting what I believed greg666 had meant with his post. If you thought he meant something else feel free to let us know.

PS you need to use proper English here, not text speak. It's in the AUP you agreed you when you registered.

How can you do half lap stints?

He won't lose because you already did.

I'm most interested in discovering the most poignant undocumented changes, that should have been listed as top 3 documented changes

Do undocumented yet significant changes still happen? I've had major gripes about small bugs since vanilla GT5 but they have never been fixed, not even as undocumented fixes. That tells me that they can't be that noteworthy.

Perhaps a pp fix would be very much welcomed. Especially in the most common room "550 pp" it seems that some cars have the power of a Bugatti and the handling of an F1whereas others of the same kind are bound to really strict and almost "unfair" limitations.
This is a bug that lately has annoyed me quite a lot...

Blame it on the Race Soft tires.

Blame it on the Race Soft tires.

Yeah that's another aspect of the story that adds to the main problem in my opinion.
The main example of this is the Lfa, but another could be the Nsx or the HSC.
And the Gt-r might apply as well to that category, but I'm not exactly sure of its spec when tuned at 550.

How is it possible that (similar cars), tires aside, have the same weight of others and have some 50+ horsepower more, or viceversa (same power and much lighter) ?

Once upon a time there was light in my life,
Now there's only love in the dark.
Nothing I can say.
