To the FITT community, how have we gone this long without using this group of cars in a shootout? There is not one rotten banana in the bunch. The sign of a good tuning competition is in the difficulty in choosing a car to tune. As I drool over the list, I already know that I will post my two selections for the competition along with four or five other cars that are on my short list. Whether I can produce a podium finishing tune for this competition is irrelevant. The true prize will be the glow that this list of awesome tuned cars will bring to my garage.
For this challenge we will run two individual groups; 575PP tuner cars on sport soft tires and 490PP tuner cars on sport hard tires. Tuners are allowed to enter one car in each class. The allowed list of cars is posted below

Bonus class tuner deadline, Sunday, May 12
One premium car and fifteen standards.
Awards:
Top three on lap times
Top three on drivers choice
Not mixed... separate rankings
Scoring:
Fastest lap calculations A maximum of 10 points can be earned from lap times. The tune with the fastest average lap time across all testers will earn 10 points. All other tunes will earn their score based upon how close their average lap time is to the fastest tune. For example, if the fastest tune earned the average lap time of 1:21.688 and the 2nd fastest tune equates to 1:21.832, the 2nd place tune receives 9.988 points (121.688 divided by 121.832 *10 = 9.988). Another example, if the fastest tune earned the average lap time of 1:21.688 and the slowest tune equates to 1:27.271, the slowest tune receives 9.56 points (121.688 divided by 127.271*10 = 9.56). This method of scoring rewards tunes for being very close to the front and will keep the lap time portion of the competition very close.
Drivers choice - Each tester will score each tune on the scale listed below. Drivers choice scores will then be averaged across all testers. The maximum number of DC bonus points that can be earned is ten points. Please choose drivers choice on a scale of 0.0 to 10.0.
Car Sharing:
All Tuners are responsible for placing their car on share as written up in their tune, or making arrangements with one of the F.I.T.T. car hosts to place it on share. Friend requests are the responsibility of the tuners.
Testers:
Volunteers - Anyone can volunteer as a test driver. For all volunteer test drivers (non-tuners), you will receive any car under one million credits, five paints and five museum cars.
Test Settings - Offline in A-Spec Free Run, TCS off, Skid Force Recovery off, ASM off, ABS 1, tire wear/fuel consumption off, grip reduction real, mechanical damage none.
Results - Test Drivers results should all be placed in one post here with notifications posted when that results are updated. All Test Drivers must submit the fastest lap time for each car/track combination and a Drivers Choice ranking for all cars in each group they test.
Prizes and Awards:
Whatever anyone wants that is tradable in the game. Now that we can make $20MM in a few minutes, my credits keep filling up and I already own most of the cars. I am deleting paints to make room for items. Museum cards and gear dont interest me either. The biggest reward is the joy of participating and winning anyway.
Deadlines:
Tuner Entry are open from now until Sunday, May 5th, (Midnight, wherever you live). Tuners who have confirmed entry must post their tune either within this thread or in their own garages with a direct link to the tune posted here before this deadline.
Test Drivers Results must be posted no later than Thursday, May 23, (Midnight, wherever you live).
Note: Extensions or exceptions to the above listed deadlines may be issued at the event sponsors discretion. However, it is up to the participants that they do everything possible to meet the listed deadlines as extensions or exceptions will only be granted under extenuating circumstances. Assigning deadlines after a weekend seems very reasonable.
This is a Federation of International Tuners and Test-Drivers sanctioned event.
F.I.T.T. rules will be used for this event. Any event specific rules and all deadlines are listed above.
