FITT Tuner Car Shootout

So I thought I might try and tune a car for this shootout rather than just test. So I picked the G37, don't know why. And painted it Lime Green - didn't realise it would look so cool in that colour, but it does.

Will keep you updated with my progress, but it's my first time tuning from scratch so I think it will probably suck. Learning process all the same though. I'll put it up on share when I think I have it. People are welcome to try it and PM me some pointers. Would really help.

All cars look best in Lime Green, in my opinion. 👍 And since you painted it Lime Green, I would be happy to offer some tips along the way.

Funnily enough, was thinking of submitting a tune myself, would also be my 1st tune. Only had a look at 2 cars so far, one seemed quite easy to tune, hitting 1:10's, the other not so! Will hopefully get time before deadline to have a bit more of a play. If you don't mind Hami, i've been checking out your tuning guides and that's where most of it has come from.

Yeah, MCH's guide is what I've been using for my 575PP tune. I'm unsure of which car to tune for 490PP, might try it.

Yeah, my G37 is hitting 1:04s consistently. I don't think it's a 1:03 car in my hands.

That's why I wrote the guides, for people to use to learn how to tune better. Let me know if you have questions.

Yeah, that'd be great Johnny.

I've also been messing with the Fairlady Z S-Tune, it's taking time to get it right though and my lap-time close to what I'd like. The track is not that easy to drive though when I've been driving it in reverse for a while beforehand. :crazy:

But I'll finish the Nismo tomorrow I think, and will get them both up on share then. I foolishly built them on my GTP account, so I need to send them over to my iainoflo85 account which I'm using for Shootouts.

(Funny thing with the Fairlady, I was wondering why the power wasn't increasing like from normal break-in and I couldn't work it out because it was 2 PP shy of 490, then I remembered I got it from the OCD :dunce: and had to find another way of getting those other 2 PP)

I chose this car because I like this German mark FT565 TWIN TURBO AUDI TT of pleasure driving has good good good adherence speed torque so has little problem when turn to left tire turns red but no worries, good to improve brake circuit time I guarantee 1; 04,562 with 3 laps but did you testers download this time. trying to improve

Happy that you are participating. I have playing with this car and the standard '00 version. I cannot decide which one is better.
 
I have my two entries on share... well I'm 98.342906% these will be my entries :D. If anyone is interested :dopey:
 
Sign me up for 575 and 490 if there's room, please. I'll use a Mine's BNR34 Skyline GT-R N1 base '06 and an Amuse S2000 R1 '04.
