FITT Wagon & SUV Tuner Challenge

I really wanted to test some of these cars, but prior real life activities got in the way :(. Maybe next time?

Great shootout and well done testers and MCH đź‘Ť:cheers:

Anxiously awaiting the moment when the winner realizes who he is. :)

Who's that? :P *checks links*

Yahhhhhhoooooooo!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! Finally, finally I win something, it may be on a smallish scale, but I've actually won something!

Thanks to all testers for driving, and I suppose bigger thanks to lilcat for giving me the win. :D small margin, but who cares. :P

*passes out from joy*

Congratulations Onboy. Quite an accomplishment to win both the fastest average lap and the driver's choice. Big win for you.

Yup, finally made the first milestone for any tuner. :D
Yes, congratulations Onboy. I remember when you were just a testdriver/reviewer... my how you've grown :dopey:
You make it sound like we're all retired and old men looking back on fond times with the kids.

Last on the 525PP and 4th overall on 450PP, I am happy with the result, thank you again to MC Hami for making it happen and testers for the reviews and nice lap times đź‘Ť

Cheers testers and MCH, great shootout. :)

I'll take 4th and 2nd I guess...

A big congrats to Onboy, praiano and Theo for taking the respective wins, well deserved.

Congrats to Onboy for the clean sweep at 525pp. Congrats also to Praiano and Theo for their efforts at 450pp. Well done to all tuners for providing good cars to test.

Thanks again to all the testers, very good job like always. Shootout like this are showing incredible hidden cars. I knew a bit the Odyssey because i've made a tune for it a few months ago for it and i knew his driving quality.
Congrats also to Theo777 and his Honda ELEMENT '03, i'm going to build one to check.
Congrats to Onboy, it's not a surprise for me, i know the quality of your tunes because i'm your test driver number one.

đź‘Ť:)

One of our FITT tuners also needs to check the tune of the week listing on the news page. Congrats to building such a stellar ride.

Thanks a lot to the two of you, I didn't think it'd be that good, if I'm really honest. I was even going to swap it out for something else…but I'm properly glad I stuck with it now.

And now I'll dress it up and try to post the tune properly. Great shootout MCH, these things were harder to tune than we thought, huh?

VTiRoj Nissan Stagea 260RS Autech '98
Fast Lap of 1:22.723
DC: 8.2
The time doesnt reflect how fun and super edgy the car is at the limit. What Roj seems to have done is inject Acura NSX DNA into his Stagea. Power oversteer is very fun, but my driving style doesnt match up well with the tune.

See I tune so many NSX's, I just have NSX DNA laying around all over the place. I had to put some to use.

And congrats Onboy! Way to go with the older, better looking Audi. :P

It's the looks Roj, a blue Audi estate just woos everyone, the RS4 duo probably got bonus points just for the looks alone. :P

Nothing better than Metallic Blue on an Audi.

I second that.

Honestly guys, all the tunes were great. I was just able to throw the smaller ones around more. I look forward to the next one.

Congrats onboy for TOTW! It was a brilliant and well deserved win.

Congrats on your win and a tune of the week Onboy!

Thanks Praiano! Congrats on your fast 450pp Odyssey tune. The two Hondas are fun underrated cars.đź‘Ť

I am glad that testers liked the quirky Element enough for the drivers choice. Thank you MotorcityHami and testers for another great F.I.T.T. event. I'll leave you with the inspiration for why this tune was called the Safety Car.:dopey:

Great photo!

Big thanks to everyone for participating in my wagon-SUV challenge. These cars were far more difficult to tune than I could have ever guessed. While I was tuning on sport mediums I just kept wishing that I had made the competition on sport softs. All worked out well in the end.

I do want to go back and use Roj's tune again, with a few small changes to settle it down some. I want to enter random online rooms and try to smoke them out. :)

Sports Softs would definitely help a lot there.

I really do enjoy fun challenges like this. Gives me an outlet to make Battlewagons. đź‘Ť

So it looks like, while not necessarily official FITT events, we do have a couple things running right now. Look for the no aid challenge right now plus one other, which doesn't seem to have any kind of structure right now. The no aid seems to incorporate Hami's Yellowbird idea as well as the no ABS idea we have discussed lately. Please try to drum up some support for this as I think testers may be in short supply.

EDIT: I'm an idiot and posted this in the wrong thread (stupid phone!) but I'll leave it here and just copy it over to the FITT thread. :P
