Perhaps instead of a lifetime ban give him a probation period. I dont think he meant to sit in the track, maybe he had black screen.

silly mistake from me today:dopey:, was in a day dream and only put 15ltr of fuel in the tank. then I pushed it to far and ran out on lap 29 last corner.

ye mustard i was following ip for them 1st 3 laps and nearly got him after he got oversteer on 2nd chicane, nearly took im out twice before that tho so was very carefull:scared:.

If he had black screen why would he leave his PS3 on for so long? Don't forget, he also had his car on pause in the middle of qualifying and he didn't stop to put the car in predator mode. Ruined some of our qualifying laps.

I'd say give him another chance but don't let him race until he knows fully what he did wrong.

Ok I accept to 10 sec penalty although it was a racing incident and bursa braked early but if you handing out penalty a please have a look at Hugo for taking me out with a unsafe return to track when racing for position as this cost me over 30 seconds was between lap 20-30 il check replay for exact lap
 
I'll look for it but please file complaints to immortal within 36 hrs of the race. That way we dont get reactionary "blackmale" style complaints.
 
Thanks rich I thought I'd I'd sent the message to IP on psn but it obviously didn't send but apologise for late complaint not a slinging for a penalty to be dished out would just like it looked at from another persons point of view
 
Have got today the F1 Wheel its awesome I like it much more than the normal G27 I was also faster with the f1 wheel I think with more practice its very very good.

Since you insisted on exaggerating, saying it cost you 30 seconds, I had to go watch the replay myself to confirm what I had remembered about it.

First of all, 30 seconds? Are you insane? The lap before the incident, you had a 1:21.9. You want to know exactly how much time the incident cost you? 10 seconds. Your lap was 1:31 on the lap which the incident happened. So where's the other 20 seconds? You commented on here twice saying I cost you 30 seconds.

And i did concede the position to you, although on review, I don't think I had to.

Please, re-watch the replay to see why. I made sure to get off the racing line to let you by. It was what you did that caused the incident. You had plenty of space and time to go through the chicane unimpeded. You didn't even need to slow down. It was hard to see, but it was your misjudgement that caused the incident.

Not to mention, there was nothing else I could have done. I was going far too fast to simply avoid re-entering the course. Nor could I turn the car, it was on sand. I knew that, so I chose to stay to left, to give you a clear shot at the apex.

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure I broke no rules. There is a penalty for wrecklessly re-entering, but I didn't have a choice of whether or not to re-enter, so I chose to get over to the other side to let you by. I believe that was the right choice, and it definitely wasn't wreckless.


What really happened, is you misjudged where my car was going, you went off of the racing line to avoid where you thought I was going to be, and rear ended me. You must have assumed that I was trying to get back on the driving line. It was hard to see, but it was still pretty clear where I was going. I got off of the racing line long before you even turned right in to the second part of the chicane, had you not swerved to the left in anticipation, you would've gone through the chicane unimpeded, the apex was literally wide open.

Even if we gave you 30 seconds back, and gave me a 10 second penalty to match the amount of time it actually cost you, it still would be the same race result. I was 16 seconds ahead of 6th place, and you were over 30 seconds behind 6th place. So what was the point of exaggerating like that?

And by the way, you also got the lap wrong, it was on lap 22.

Second the 30 seconds was my mistake I post from my phone I I can't lie I've got some chubby fingers so my mistake I hit the 3 instead of 1
But finally how you expect me to miss you at full racing speed in a cloud of dust in that corner that quickly is mind boggling at the point of contact you was in middle of the track with nowhere for me to go so how you can think it was my fault is a slight joke
 
And I wasn't asking for you to get a penalty if you could read correctly I was asking for someone else point of view who was not involved in the incident which rich s said he would look at

I didn't say it was your fault. What you did in reaction was a mistake though, and it did cause the collision, there's no question about that. You assumed I would try to stay on the racing line but I didn't. I'm not that kind of racer. If something happens I always try to get out of the way to avoid collisions. You could also say, if I never went off in the first place, the incident never would've happened either.

What you did was understandable. It's tough to see through the dust but I couldn't have done more than what I did. I did a great job getting off the racing line, and handling that situation properly so it wasn't my fault either.

I'd say it's just an unfortunate racing incident, and neither of us are to blame I suppose.

And if it was a mistake, hitting a 3 instead of a 1 on your phone, how did you do it twice? This isn't the first comment you left claiming I cost you 30 seconds. Did you hit the wrong button twice then in 2 seperate comments?

Yes it's a beautiful track I'm lucky enough it's only half hour drive from my house and I've drive 100s of laps on it
Yes very interesting race I got up to second at one point doing 25 laps on soft on my first stint not very happy with a few over takes that used more off track astro than I'd like to say
Pot completely ruined the start and wrecked teams race and I was taken out by Hugo returning to the track after his spin in a less than ideal way when he could have waited for me to clear the corner which cost me 30+ seconds

Also, there was no spin, the only spin was after you hit me.

It's called predictive tx on my phone it auto use what I have typed be for which is my mistake and I apologise

Immortal, I just watched the Film "Senna" for the first time, good movie. It would have been interesting if they carried the 1993 season a bit more. For people like me driving aids are a beautiful thing, I dont understand why their considered so evil. :sly: Berty/rhys always liked them.

It's evil for one team to have such an advantage over everyone else. That was the biggest problem with them. Beyond that, people want the drivers to be doing all the work. In the old days drivers had even less, and most F1 fans agree that it's important that the driver has to be in control. It's already bad enough right now where the best driver doesn't always win, with the ridiculous pirelli tires, and red bull having a super genius aerodynamicist.

I would like to see F1 be more pure. I would like it if they all used the same car, and a teams success would be down to strategy, car setup, and driver skill. Then we could finally see who the best is.

Oh, and bring back the V10s, they sounded so much better.
 
Well I'll be down and out of a 2nd today I feel, off the pace as it is and I haven't slept more than 3 hours. Will try and stay out of the way and just get some pts.
 
Don't worry rich I'm stuck doing 1:05s-1:06s so i am well of the pace I expect to see Immortal in my mirrors every 10 laps or so
This is my most hated track of the game I avoid it at all cost if I can but that not a option I have today
