Hacking is back in a big way it seems. I logged on for the 1st time in a while, raced with Leyba and he had a hybrid Ferrari F1 that was different than I'd ever seen before....Endless Wilso calls it a f10/f2007 cross but really it looks more like an F10 with a tank track for wheels. It looked red from 200 meters away but up close it was light blue (leyba's fav color). What really surprised me though was its sheer speed. It appeared to be 10-15 seconds a lap faster at Suzuka than a normal F1. Leyba closed up on me by 2 seconds in about 3 corners and I was going pretty hard in my F10.

It looks rather silly, abit like a jacked up car but instead of jacked up it was jacked sideways. It also had changing colors (I think the game believes it to be an F10 so it looks normal far away but up close it looks hybrid).

It is the same as the time trial hackers atm. They look like frog cars

Had the same last night was in a lobby in a gt500 race and a guy entered in old mini with tyres that wouldn't look out of place on a monster truck thing was so wide had to off road to get past it.

Also the hackers have ruined what would have been my best time trail result was sitting in top 70 with a lot of room for improvement until hackers did there thing
 
LEYBA write always to me join lobby I write him make stock f1 and he never want stock f1 I think he have problems to hack when its stock in the lobby or?
 
I think what they might try for is to make a car with the low speed grip of the F10 along with the high speed downforce of the F2007, and under stock it might still work....

BUT, I think the current generation of hacked F1s all look like tanks or "frogs." :sly: In order to cheat here you'd need a custom hacked car. I'd look at guys and their game levels. If their deleting data so they can get a new car it should show up somewhere in their game progress no?
 
Interesting reading.

I dont condone hacking or modding in any way, shape or form. But, as far as Leyba and whiterussian are concerned, they are only driving hacked cars in different colours and not for speed. At least in the sessions ive been in, they wernt. Im dissapointed with Wilso though it has to be said. Its a shame that hardly any Europeans play in the day anymore (or its a shame i cant find the lobbies) as none of the bunch from IMO setup F10 league and friends seem to play much. Lobbies from North American ppl are the only ones i can find at abouit 1 or 2 in the morning.


Anyway. IMO. Well done on a top time in the GT Academy. I hope we can see you in the press and I hope you can make it all the way. And, if you ever decide to run another Stock F1 session then I'll probably join.

In GT5 when setup is allowed there heavy much hackers last time trial was setup allowed very much hackers there.Its not more possible to make a setup league its really sad.Iam sure i meet you soon in UK I hope.

New season start in 3-4 weeks with F2007 F10 and FGT all f1 cars in 12 Races all STOCK.

Guys I open sunday to our race time lobby for small practice race with F2007 in spa 22 Laps.
 
All of Leyba's friends are free to "borrow glitch" his blue "F10" (red from over 100 m distance). So..... virtually anybody has it. He also said it has the same grip as the X2010/11. HE cant use it in a stock lobby I dont think. So most of the typical F1 racers probably cant hack here.

What seems funny to me is the complete pointlessness of hacking. If you want to drive a faster car than race X2011s. To me its not about going faster for hackers its about cheating. All hackers in my mind have a desire to cheat in races because for me its just pointless playing Gran Turismo in a way it wasn't meant to be played. Its supposed to "simulate driving" after all. No real real tires would stand up to power multipliers, or grip multipliers.

F2007 is by far the best for Spa, in the FGT you just ride the rev limiter in the draft. :grumpy: FGT is a great car for Suzuka though.
 
I think we should do three stock cars per track as sprint races, each weekend, for example:

2 x 15 lap race, each with 5 minutes qualifer (using FGT, F2007/F10)
1 x 10 lap race, with a 5 minute qualifier (Very Fast Tyre Wear, Calsonic)

Points for Qualifying, Reverse Grid per race - Whoever qualifies P.1 starts from the back, that way, in a 15 lap race, anyone has a chance to win; the fastest drivers will already have earnt points but will have to fight to earn top spot, so it makes it exciting for all of us and it is a short race so it will be bunched up.

All Aids Off.

Anyone like this idea?

It sounds great fun. I like the very fast tyre wear for the calsonic. and the reverse Grid, but personally I like long endurance race with the Currently rules.

One of our races could be calsonic very fast tire wear. With 2 heats -First heat 10 laps and second heat could be 1*15 with reversed grid.
I like the idea with mixed cars, but I prefer driving the same car for each World Cup session

Thats all to complicated mate and to much things.
We make in 12 races 4 with FGT 4 with f2007 anf 4 with F10 thats very different and a nice change to try.

You are forgetting that we probably are not going to instantly have any of the F1s as we start of GT6. It probably going to take a few days, or weeks til we get any, or all of the F1 cars.

That's a good point if its like gt5 and can't use or buy the cars until we reach a certain level but I could see it taking at least a week of playing to get access to a f1 car that's if you have the spare time to do it . We also have to consider different release dates Japan,America,Europe,uk will all have a different release dates so the chances we all get gt6 within a week of each other are slim
 
i have a question ...
as we'll race the open wheel cars Stock , why not also use Stock tires , means race hard tires .
race soft really have epic grip(way too much grip) , and they accept mistakes a lot more ...
 
We always have use this tyres its nice the grip and the racing hard tyres make in the f1 only 3 tenths slower in a lap. I have talked also with one of the best iRacing driver in the world Atze Kerkhof he was shocked about the GT5 physics he say bad grip and the input lag have shocked him very much.

With the FGT softs are often times only good for 1 lap (Cape Ring requiring proper pacing on the out lap :sly: .) With F2007 and 10 it sometimes take 2 or more laps to get them warmed up to the desired white color on the tire indicator. I even set personal bests after they start to wear.

If anything mediums on the FGT and softs on the Ferraris might work out, although I cant attestify that everyone will be in control of their stock FGT with less grip... As it was some just could not stay on the bull for even 50% race distance.
