I'm not a big fan of it myself - though I love the Classical station in FH2 - but it's been mentioned custom soundtracks are returning to XBOne in November, so that can solve any issues.

This is good news. To celebrate Forza's 10th anniversary, I plan on listening to Forza 1's menu music in Forza 6. :P

Anybody else?? Is this normal? I do 2 or 3 races, decide to leave, enter the game again and it brings me back to the trailer (I can't even skip it) and all my progress is gone, even my settings for the controller and deadzones!

That's just how the demo is; even in the same session if you start a new rival event, everything goes back to default - your assists, sound settings, controller, HUD etc. Super-uber-annoying, I know. I suppose the devs don't want us getting too cozy with the demo! :D

Funny thing is it even creates a profile and demo save file in the "manage game" menu, and they both indicate 0kb.

Has anyone noticed that the Ferrari 430 Scuderia RPM gauge has changed from yellow in FM5 to black in FM6? I don't think I've ever seen a real 430 Scuderia with a black RPM gauge, so what could explain this change?

Interesting observation. Though it's wierd the interior lights in the 430 don't light up. Possible demo bug?

Did everyone win the Bugatti?

I got the Veyron and the Lexus, in addition to well over 1,000,000 in cash, though what's the point? It just disappears into oblivion. Would have been neat if this gets transferred over to the full game. Maybe it does...

@Speedster911 it was one of those non funny jokes of mine. I saw a lot of people saying that they won the Buggatti, I won it three times in a row which made me think it was rigged. Yeah it's useless because we don't get to keep it, they just put it there to show you that you can win great prizes.

I had a chance to play the first 2 races of the demo last night and I'm very impressed. The cars have a really nice weight to them and the handling reflects this really well, even when using a controller on default settings. The audio is sublime, it's one of the first games in a long time that has really made use of my 5.1 system properly. I won't pass much of a judgement on the AI just yet but so far they seem to behave very well without bumping into you too much which is a breath of fresh air after playing Drive Club.

I'm hoping to get a few more hours in on it tonight, hopefully even a race in the rain. :)

The rain race IMO is the highlight of the demo. Just incredible. I have never experienced rain so well executed in a racing game ever before this F6 demo. Only other comparison would be PGR4 but even that is hardly comparable.

Wow already so many great photos just from the demo. Keep up the good work everyone. Cant wait to see what everyone comes up with when the full game releases.

I agree, appreciate it too.
Keep em coming lads.

Recommend people try this demo with headphones/headset.
The ambiance and directional effects are very well implemented indeed which sometimes is harder to notice on a TV or surround sound speaker config.

Tell me its not weird to be testing headphones for a review/comparison regards a new PS4 product watching YT direct footage of FM6. :)

I'll only really be comparing the visual effects to Drive Club, the rain effects in that game are nothing short of stunning. Handling wise they can't really be compared, I'm expecting Forza to excel in this respect. 👍

Very true, while I don't have Driveclub, I have seen the videos and the pics. Those are indeed stunning graphically for sure. They just are not effected by any physics like in F6 or PGR4, also like you said.

Found this, someone mentioned earlier, oh man sounds great....

That video (I agree it sounds amazing) is a perfect example of the wandering back end. The back end gets very loose very often when I just wouldn't expect it to. Compare it with this vid and you'll see it just isn't right in Forza.

Don't forget that colder weather effects tires as well. Slight possibility that this is what's going on?

That video is just one example. In FM5, and I suspect it will be the same in FM6, that sort of behaviour happened on all tracks in all conditions. For me it's a fundamental flaw with how the most two recent iterations drive. It's like the front tyres are absolutely planted in RWD cars and it's the back end that gives.

^ I'm no expert, but in the F6 demo, where he loses traction the most is when he is attacking the corners hard and driving well over the rumble strips, which is causing the car to bounce. Also as stated above track surface temp has effect on grip as well. RWD cars always felt a bit tail happy in FM series however. On a side note though, I miss driving on Mugello, wonder if that track will make an appearance again.

All tracks in FM5 where during the day, so we never got to encounter the situation until now. What you're describing is how RWD cars react, no? Front end is going to grip while the driving tires are going to slip?

Did the guy driving in the game had all driving aids off (mainly tcs)? Was the guy driving the real driving the real thing driving a stock 458 with stock tyres? Too many variables and unknowns, seems pointless to come to conclusions based on so little data.
