Layout's the same, however Forza Motorsport 7 has several tyre barriers on the inside of corners to prevent people cutting them. That plus the different advertising banners make for some key visual differences.

Catalunya Spain, so maybe a different track.

I am thinking of Suzuka. I guess the Spanish track isnt on our list that I can see.

Today's race was Barcelona and I dont see that on our list, i will look again later.

No, not the same at all. The first turn is gone, etc. Did you see the F1 race today?

Are you thinking of one of the shorter layouts? I feel like the full-on GP circuit isn't used as much in FM7 as the smaller layouts.

I was confused but today's race was in Barcelona and I dont recognize it, I was thinking of Suzuka for some reason when I made my first comment.

That means the rest of the forum has to pitch in for hookers:cheers::cheers::cheers:

I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that. I’ve tried getting as much as I could gathered, but it’s still only $6.48. I mean I could still try finding one if you’re dead set on going that route, but I’m not sure the result would be pretty. :scared:

I wouldn't be surprised if the news this week is this.

RM: From C.J. O’Donnell, chief marketing officer of IMS/IndyCar: “We are expanding our presence in gaming. INDYCAR has a larger presence in the latest releases from Project Cars and iRacing. Forza is also adding the new INDYCAR to its platform this season. Unfortunately, we do not have a game developer signed to build an INDYCAR branded / dedicated platform (at least, not yet). Discussions regarding this feature platform are ongoing, and we hope to have some good news in the coming year.”

We've speculated this over the past week, we will see. The general consensus though is hopefully it won't be, not too much fan base for it compared to other Motorsports.

The F1 race you were watching was the Spanish Gran Prix, run on Catalunya Raceway in Barcelona. And Yes, that track is in Forza 7. I was watching the same event. I think what confused you was some of the elevated camera shots which seemed to depict more of a change in elevation at some spots on the track. I know in Forza the track is basically flat. Once they got to the 30 degree turn, that has the huge Red Area to the right that spells out Circuit De Catalunya in white. That should be recognizable, because it's been in Forza in every game, (or at least every one that I can remember).

Today they gifted it but reading the fourms someone said it was for the forza RC booster or the competitive training.

There should be a gift car for each, but I cannot confirm. I did receive the Clio and I did both events.

I would welcome a dedicated INDY car game, provided it was well done. Should Turn 10 make an Indy Car expansion, it would need to be more than just cars though. I would like to see the missing tracks added as well... Although an expansion that would put all teams, cars and tracks into FM7 would be gigantic, and priced accordingly. If the end product was a $30 - $40 expansion, I'd spring for it.

It took an extra day, but I finally got my Clio. I was starting to wonder because I enter all those ForzaRC training events just for the participation prize, but it seemed like everyone was getting their Renault except me. I got a little more anxious than normal on this one because I've got a fondness for Renaults. I owned an R12 when I lived in Turkey in the mid-'80s, and a Le Car (R5) in the US in the late-'80s.

Took the new GTP ZX-Turbo out for a 24 minute race around Le Mans. IMO, it's a little slow on top speed. The 908 is a lot faster than I originally thought, so it was hard catching him on the straights. Luckily, the turns I had advantage of. Fun car, I would race with it again. But, the Jag is still my favorite :)

Anyone notice the "Test Drive" function in online hoppers now? It's triggered by L3 and behaves just like offline test drive except it starts you off immediately. It might have been there for a while but I haven't played in a couple months.

It was included in the update that came with the previous car pack.

Not surprising, given the Nissan was designed for the many slower, shorter tracks of the IMSA schedule like Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio and the streets of Miami rather than the ones with long full-throttle blasts like Le Mans, Kyalami and Fuji that the WEC ran.

Is it just me, or the latest patch (the one that also added in the FK8 Civic Type R) reintroduced a graphical display of tire deformation (as opposed to the tire just clipping through the ground in an hideous, immersion-breaking way)?

So, going by the post above by ManteoMax, today is supposedly the day we may hear about a possible expansion or something for the Forza series, right?
