Any idea roughly how big I should expect this update to be? I'm stuck on 10Mb/s internet, so it took legit like 30 hours just to download the game a few days ago. Hoping it's not like PUBG where the the way the engine works means that you have like a 9+GB update for just a few changes.

No one really knows right now. I'm guessing with all the changes, this might be pretty big.

Lol guess I can't really complain. Been having a ton of fun with it since I've gotten it, and I want that TVR and SL65 Black ASAP. So if I have to deal with not being able to play for a day, that's a-okay.

A little off track so to speak, I honestly feel a little confident that T10 will eventually either add a little booster pack with a track or just a track by itself. I just feel with project cars adding tracks each dlc and GTsport adding tracks as time goes on, why wouldn't they do the same for Forza 7...I call before the years over we will probably get at least one track.

From what Chris was saying on stream, it really could be interpreted in two ways; either they've got a track in the works and it's coming in one of the updates in August/September. Or, they've got no tracks planned at the moment as they're still working out how long they plan on supporting FM7 for but are looking into the possibility of tracks coming with that extended support, whether it be free like FM5 or in a paid expansion like FM6.

If we were to get a track, what would you guys want? And what do you guys think we'll actually get haha.

I'd love Tsukuba to return. I think even if we were to get a track though (which I think is quite unlikely at this point even though we desperately need more) it'll probably be the long rumored Pacific Raceways.

I don't know about Japanese tracks, as much as Id want twin ring motegi and tsukuba to return I just don't see it with all the controversy surrounding Toyota and all. Plus Gran Turismo sport seems to have the Japanese market on lock. I feel they might add mid Ohio, donnington( as it's been in Forza files for a few years now) or maybe a remade verison of Pacific shipyards. Also cant rule out the infamous fantasy track fujumi kaido making a return. We shall see, I'm hanging tight until year's end if anything.

Pacific Raceways pka SIR is my preference. It's a fascinating track with that descending double hairpin on the back half of the track. But even more importantly, I grew up right across the Green River Valley from it, so I would hear the drag races every weekend. The sound really echoed across that valley.
 
Not sure if T10 is still advertising its partnership with IMSA like it was, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mid-Ohio or Canadian Tire (or Mosport as I'll always remember it) are added to tie in with said partnership.
 
Esaki was definitely cryptic in that segment, not saying no to a potential expansion but not confirming it either. Time will tell, I guess.

Man, i need to drive that track someday. I've done a few races at the Ridge and I got down to Sears Point a few months ago, but i've never raced at SIR, even though i've been there a ton of times (mostly for their karting track)

I went to the IMSA race at Mid-Ohio this year (first time at that track) and it was amazing! I had to laugh, though, because there was a Forza tent with people playing FM7 - obviously they weren't running at Mid-Ohio. I would love to see the track added!

I've wanted to go there for some driving classes or a track day for a while. It seems like such a cool track that, as far as I know, hasn't made it into a game.

As for general track wishes, I'd like to see FM4's Fuji track return. Sure, it's fictional, but I think the game could use more long, complex tracks. I'd like to see night and rain (and selectable rainy night) added to more tracks as well.

I got those and I think they're great.

I had a strange thing happen last night. Every car from the December Doritos car pack disappeared from my garage. 1939 BMW 328, 1926 Bugatti Type 35, 1955 Chevy 150, 1962 Porsche 804, 1985 Nissan Safari, 2018 Porsche Cayenne and the 2018 Jeep Trackhawk all disappeared. It was even stranger since I had been using the '55 Chevy in League races earlier in the day. I was told I would have to buy the pack (even though I have the car pass). I took a chance and clicked on the "buy" link. The XBox thought for a minute, realized I already owned it and asked if I wanted to download it again. I did and everything is back. So yay I guess?
 
Doing the game my way starting with small cars and grind a bit for a GT3 RS , or race cars that's how I like my car games

It wouldn't work for me. I think today's new cars will bring me to 500 cars in total since I started playing in October, and I still plan to collect another 50-70 cars beyond those. However, the thing is, I'm not sure I'll actually get there before FH4 possibly ends up taking my time. So losing my FM7 save ranks high among the worst things that could happen to me this year. :lol:

I can appreciate that,but you're talking to a guy that nearly (91-92 % I think just had enduros to do) completed GT4 in about 4 days..:lol: yes I know modern games are bigger/longer but you get my point.
 
I can’t even get it to download, just starts the game up straight away.
