The new GT3 RS has some serious braking power, love it. The 917 sounds more like a flat 6, kinda disappointed with the sound of that car but it's still fast which is nice.

My Car selection menu screens are way faster now. I can now scroll side to side (scroll through manufacturers) and up and down (scroll through makes and models) so much faster now. It makes a huge difference now.

Welp, I was one of the lucky ones that had very few issues with FM7 on PC, now after installing the new update the game won't launch.
Going to try some of the Windows store fixes I know of and updating Windows, Hopefully that fixes it. I'd hate to have to reinstall the game as it took the better part of a week to download the first time because of my slow AF internet.

EDIT: Welp, looks like I'm re-installing the game. See you all in a week when the download finally finishes.

Noticed that the decal on 991.2 GT3 RS is just copied over from the drivers side to the passenger side, so the decal isn't correct. It has a space where the door gap would be on the opposite side of the car.

Can you please elaborate this? I've compared it to real photos on both sides and I cannot spot the error.

I can show you.
Here's the left side of the car. Notice the cut line between the R and the S to allow the door to open.

Now here's the right side of the car. I've highlighted it. The cut line is still there. It's not a complete copy since the cut line for the front of the door on the other side, which would be in front of the GT3, isn't there. So they fixed one cut line, but not the other.

The rear wheels aren't correct either, just like the 991.1

But man, I don't care. Like Savage said, that thing brakes on a dime. What it lacks in straight line speed in its division, it more than makes up for it with handling and braking. Easily my favorite car in the pack (even if it wasn't part of it!) and easily top 5 in the whole car list.

Who caresssss lmao.

It's no big deal when looking at instances like these in isolation. But when you also notice other minor details being wrong on other cars, then you eventually you end up wondering why stuff like this keeps happening. The other day I drove the Mercedes-Benz W154 for the first time and immediately noticed how the shifting animation assumes that the W154 has paddle shifters. :irked:

Forza Motorsport really is the racing game where small mistakes in the content thrive and linger between games. Not good enough in this day and age where game developers brag about letting players enjoy their work in 4K.

Ok, that's fair as I've seen many minor details that are wrong on other cars too. My only gripe with this car is the sound, where is that nice 9000 rpm flat six wail??...classic T10 screwing up car sounds on some of the better rides.

I never noticed anything wrong with the wheels or decals, but both 991.1 & 991.2 rev past 9000 rpm (up to 9400rpm). 991.1 should have rev limiter kick in at 8800 rpm and 991.2 at 9000 rpm (if I remember correctly :P)

Luckily the re-install process didn't delete and redownload the full 97GB so I got the game working again this morning.
Took all the new cars out for a test drive in Stock tunes, The exosite and 812 are a bit of a handful with their massive power/weight figures, but the rest of the cars where a blast to drive. The KTM GT4 isn't the fastest in the straights, but it has so much grip and carries so much speed through the corners, I hope T10 adds more GT4 cars and creates a separate division for them so they don't have to be bundled with the GT3 cars.

Earlier tonight I got on FM7 and went to the dealership (Non-Specialty Dealer) just for the heck of it and saw that I could purchase cars that were still as of a few days ago locked. The cars I'm talking about are: '11 VW Scirocco R, '16 WM Lykan Hypersport, '15 Audi S3 Sedan, '14 Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge and a few others I've been patiently waiting to appear in Forzathon or League events. Has anybody else experienced this?

It was part of the recent update. They unlocked all the previously locked cars except the BMW Z4 M Coupe and MG Twin-Cam. 👍

I noticed that rpm tachometer(9000-10000) is displaced.

My guess: T10 borrowed that little red bar design between the 9k & 10k from the GT2 RS instead of using the one from the Mk. 1 3RS because the two markers on it are specifically at the end points. Where as with the Mk. 1, the red bar design actually extends past the 9k since the old car redlined at 8800RPM.

Because of this decision, it throws off the Mk. 2's tachometer in terms of relation.

Does anyone know how to get another 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR? I obviously got the free one like everyone else did, months ago, but is there any way to get a second one?

Not currently. It appears to be a unicorn, I have a third though, if I can sell it I'd be happy to.

It's actually hard to believe that Forza Motorsport hasn't seen a proper new to franchise real world track since the addition of Homestead in 2016. I honestly wonder if some influential individual at Microsoft has stopped to reflect on this thought for more than just a second. It's getting weird.

Auction House and Livery/Photo contests are your only options.

Just **** this games broken ass multiplayer. Past week of trying to play multiplayer and I can’t even get into a single race without my game crashing constantly. Every single time the race countdown ends my ******* game crashes and no matter what i do it just keeps on crashing. Not even resetting my console changed anything.

No other game has this issue, it’s just Forza. Single player is completely fine also.

Probably just going to reuninstall the damn game at this rate. No point in keeping it if I can’t even play the damn game.

We need Paul Ricard! :)
