Had to give the Suzuka West Alt. a shot as everybody was talking about it! I like the time trial so far. Yet to try the drift options but so far I'm really liking this update.

Indeed haha! Quite a funny sight. I originally was using the 85’ RX-7 but could only achieve a 1:39.9ish which was pretty quick but I wanted a little bit faster of a time
I went from disliking Forza to really enjoying it now
Was honestly a treat to build up the RX-7

I never realized how terrible I am at FM7 until Time Attack mode was added. I can't do 2 consecutive clean laps if my life depended on it.
But hey, at least the recent updates have given me plenty of reason to play the game again and to get better at it. I missed drifting around like an idiot on the Open Airfield course too.

Sunny Top gear track for example
I'm on PC, no matter what settings I have. I have tried everything ultra, dynamic and medium settings. Always same issue.

Glad it gave someone a chuckle, I was just trying to get something unlikely in the rankings, and after failing with the Volvo XC90, I ended up with the mighty Ram. I got it handling surprisingly well mostly down to RWD swap, if it wasn't for the visuals I probably wouldn't be able to tell that the track was wet. I'm curious now to see how it's straight line speed compares to the other cars, it was only marginally faster than @prousonhairy Merc 190E on the straights.

So, to confirm, are we doing this competition on the wet version of the track or the dry version? The time I set was on the wet one.

Its because the shadows are lower quality in Forzavista and don't have proper self shadowing like the gameplay model. The reasons for that i think is because its a higher quality lod (lod-1) with highly detailed engines so they don't want frame drops between 2 modes.Could someone confirm if this is bug or something wrong at my end:

I’m gunna have to get back in on this, it’s fun trying different cars, and seeing everyone get in on it. I think I can improve my Time with the merc by at least a couple of seconds, that was just a 2-3 lap quick run. 👍

Attempting to set the pace (Sorry) and beat my Muira time. There's more potential there and I reckon of all cars it could possibly do it! I'm loving this challenge so far
May even needs it’s own GTPlanet Time Trial thread at this rate haha
Edit: With the times dipping into the 1:37’s I don’t think I can find that much time in the AMC

Actually, I probably should try Suzuka West Alt myself too. Not tot try beating those laptimes, but to finally get a hang of that layout. That chicane keeps throwing me off as I'm so used to driving on it without the chicane.
