Apologies if this is a stupid question

But what are the tunes that have are for the E100 class and warning signs in the storefront? I see them for every car and lots of them.

Are they for division or homologation tunes? At first I thought they were some type of glitch but there's so many of them that Im assuming Im missing something here about these tunes that everyone else knows about?

So when I got FM7, I was right on the cusp of tier 11. Well, I've now made it to tier 11, but my rewards still reflect tier 10. Strange. I am still enjoying the game, but I think doing the career races set to "long" has started to wear thin. That extra money is nice, though...
Happening to all of us, lots of queries on the official forums.

Well, I just broke down and bought FM7. I'm just hoping I don't hate it as much as the demo in terms of driving the Porsche. That was just a terrible experience, with a wheel anyway.

It is the first car you drive in the game and the experience was terrible for me aswell, but only for that car for some reasons

Well, I just finished the 69 lap Spa race and am happy I got it over with. It was a fun race until the first pit stop. They apparently haven't changed the AI pit strategy since FM6 as I had to pit 10 laps before most of the AI, but since their tires were done I was able to catch up and get a good lead before they went into the pits. I barely even came into contact with other cars after lap 30 as I was so far ahead. :yuck:

I did manage to level up 10 times though, so that's a plus.

I've heard from multiple sources that the Porsche's handling has been altered in the full game and is allot different than the demo.... Not true?

It's true. Many on here, myself included, found the Porsche much easier to handle in the final game as opposed to the demo. The demo was also just the E3 build, so they probably didn't finalize how the Porsche was going to handle.

The Porsche's not easy to drive as it's rear-engined. You have to be aware of the weight transfer quite a bit.

Fortunately, the majority of the other cars feel great, much better than in Forza Motorsport 6.

If I download a livery for the Maserati FE, and the Camaro 17 FE as soon as I go to the garage it disappears. Anybody' s got the same problem?

The one bug I have seen is that thumbnails for garage cars initially don't load up liveries, but if you go into [Paint Car] and re-load it you should be set.

I don’t see myself doing that race for the achievement until next month, when Thanksgiving break arrives. That way, I’ll have plenty of timr to do it.

I’d rather get all the regular events out of the way first.

I saw someone on here (I think) do the Sebring Endurance on Extra Long. Whoever you are, you're INSANE!
It was over 350 laps by the way.

Pause it from time to time take a brake. That’s what I do for a long race. But I haven’t done one that long yet. Most I’ll do is 50 laps depending on the track and car.

I was going to hold off, but I wanted the Corvette.

That's what I usually do when I run extra long races or enduros. For the Spa race I started it last night, ran about half the race than went to bed. I finished it off this morning with a break at roughly lap 50.

I know it's not realistic, but neither is driving away after slamming the wall at 150+ mph.

Very odd choice to show off a demo that is a poor impression of the final product. I almost didn't buy the game at all as a result.

Well after a few minutes of messing around, the Porsche is definitely light-years better than the demo but still has a bit of an off feeling once it breaks traction in corners. Once you lose it, it's basically gone.

Other cars feel good, still not quite my cup of tea in terms of physics but it's at least tolerable.

One strange thing I noticed is the tracks and car detect bumps but I feel none of them in my wheel. Is that the case for everyone else?

I agree with you about the career mode. Even on unbeatable the Ai isn't competent and no where fast enough to create an enjoyable experience, but already I'm getting extra credits out of it. For now I'm just using it for quick cash to build up my garage for when I inevitably jump into online.

Indeed.

You can adjust the settings to increase it, but it isn't a game that will have you wrestling the wheel.

I usually run Very Long races when I look for big prices, for example I saw the Pagani Zonda Cinque at 1.5 milion and I was Brooke.
First Nascar race was 100 laps long but lap was around 30 secs. I find longer races funnier when the AI is faster and more challenging

One thing I don't understand (and it was in earlier Forza games as well), what's up with the red flares/smoke bombs at Indy?

They're ugly and I find them utterly distracting - probably because I'm thinking "WHY???" every time I drive down the front straight.

I tried doing more than basic restrictions for free play and wound up shutting the game off out of annoyance. Why couldn't they just let us select individual cars like in FH3?

Quite a few tracks have scripted trackside events, I really wish they would either remove them or only have them happen on the first or last laps.

Just a quick question regarding the Drivers Cup.

Do you get any kind of reward for achieving the maximum amount of speedpoints in each championship? For example in the Seeker Championship I am a couple hundred points from the maximum amount you can achieve, but I will consider getting the rest of the points if you're rewarded with a car or something for doing so.

You need all the points of all 6 championships in order to unlock the Elite part of it that offers more showcase cars.
