So we're still waiting on Pacific Raceways to pop up in Forza, it was leaked as laserscanned way back in Forza 5 days along with other like Monza, Cota and others. Maybe in an expansion.

Pacific Raceways in Kent WA? I grew up just a few miles from there. I was close enough that I could hear the dragsters on NHRA weekends.

You get to choose a car from any of the classes in the first series of events. I chose the McLaren F1.

I chose that too and quickly regretted it. I would go with the Bugatti EB110.

I chose the Honda Civic Type R as I did not know until afterwards that you could've picked the McLaren F1....

I went into the rise of the super car, picked the F50 then exited and bought a cheap car to run in one of the lower class races to start out with. Can't remember if I already had enough money or if I went into freeplay with one of the car pack cars to get the starting credits for the car.

If I had it to do over I would pick the F1 as I think it is the most expensive of the group. In either case I would start with a different event and come to the super cars race later with a different car.

No one would believe the GTS images, cars don’t shine like that in real life... dust does not exist in GTS world!

I wish I could love this game the way I do GT games.

Two main differences are in GT they do a bi weekly multiplayer race which is new, lasts for a couple weeks then goes away and is replaced by another one. The other is GT also creates new single player races where you race cars within the system or game or you do a time trial to win money and whatnot. New ones routinely.

I am pretty much done with Career, most of the time when I want to do Multiplayer I get server busy and when I can get in the time remaining to get into a race is very long, often. If I am home for lunch I cant wait that long, for instance.

Have weird problem..
Back from work and wanted to finish F'thon and got this from event viewer after FM7 failed to launch (game just closes after 1-2sec):

So in theory if you just do the league races and you don’t win any of them you should still get the prizes at the end of each session right? I didn’t win any races and I still got the driver suit. So if I’m right I should still get the Jag and Z8 when the leagues are done.

Having decided on a 103 lap race of the Daytona Oval in the GTR FE, I had a couple of eventful races yesterday and the day before with the AI crashing. The day before yesterday there was one crash to contend with and yesterday there were two.

Today’s race was pretty uneventful and I even managed to lap the second placed car on lap 61. Second and third being the only cars lapped once at the end of the race. The 665,000 is definitely helping with my backlog of level up cars. It seems to be getting mean with the level up cars as the urgent one (03 Focus RS) only costs 53,000.

It would be useful if the Speciality Car Dealer came with markers to show what is already in my garage as I inadvertently bought a second Falcon. At least I got an Achievement for selling it on the Auction House and someone got a bargain Buyout as I put it on at the minimum.

Forzathon decided to let me down, though I got the Aston. I changed my Driving Gear twice without any reaction from the game. I suppose I’li have to do a race!

Not in theory, that is how it is supposed to work. So yes, you are correct. As long as you participate in at least one race each session you should get the Jag and Z8.

Forza Motorsport 7 is $20 off on Amazon right now. I finally have some extra cash to buy the game and Would love to finally have a Forza Motorsport game on PC. So I'd like to get some opinion from you guys.

The Demo runs flawlessly on my PC, Even at 4K, but how does the full game hold up? Also FM6:APEX can sometimes hit triple digit framerates at 4K, and FH3 runs great on my PC at 1440P60FPS, so despite reports of performance and stability issues the engine seems to like my PC. I'm sure performance won't be much of an issue for me, But what about the memory leak issue in the upgrade menu, has that been resolved yet?

Is it worth getting now or wait to see if there is a better deal on XBox Christmas sales? Either way, it will likely take the better part of a week to download on my Internet.

Memory leak has been fixed, The game still has a few issues but nothing game breaking.
The biggest issues or me are that after several laps Indy and Daytona run into some graphic issues. Restarting the game corrects it.
Have also noticed after the last update that after running many races the game sometimes starts to stutter, sometimes badly dropping to 15fps but again only happens after driving several races and a restart of the game cures the problem.

So in a but shell if you do not mind needing to restart the game from time to time it runs fine.

Memory leak is fixed, but I believe there's another memory leak in the car selection menu. It won't lose you hours of work like the memory leak in the upgrade and paint menus, but it can still be a bit of a pain. Aside from that it's reasonably good; if you're running FH3 fine then you should be running Forza 7 just as well if not better, though a lot of the menus in FM7 are pretty slow.

Thanks guys. FM7 is now on sale in the Windows store for the same price so I guess I'll pick it up now. If all goes well with the download I might be able to play by Christmas.
