The moment I saw his name, I instantly knew it be bad news.

Anyone believes Forza 7 will run at 4k 60fps? When I saw that in the presentation I started lol'ing. To me the video demonstration looked like running at 30 fps at most with frame drops included
Wow dude, trying hard now? You lost so many arguments over the years and now you're attempting to start another here? Not only is your comment laughable, so is your lack of knowledge on Forza.

You really need to refresh you image here on GTP bud.

Xbox one X isnt powerful enough for 4k 60 fps unless you do a ton of trickery to force it.
Citation required to back that up as the information I provided from an independent source to you refutes your claim.

Nvidia GTX 1080 struggles to reach 4k 60 in most games and its way more powerful than the xbox X. 4k 60 fps graphics cards for PC cost usually the same as the entire xbox one x. Pure logic. Keep on believing if you want, you'll see. Even microsoft said their games will look a lot better on PC maxed out

"blah blah blah im so smart and you arent"
Xbox one X isnt powerful enough for 4k 60 fps unless you do a ton of trickery to force it (trickery = lower the settings for less power demand). I dont believe the marketing bs. Wait and see for the final version on the console.

And with that, you've made it very clear why you've visited this thread. Fix your attitude — and your posting quality.

It's not "trickery". Or at least, you wouldn't consider it so if we were discussing any other franchise. It's called optimization, and every developer does it. If you'd have done even a semblance of research into the XB1 X' architecture, you'd understand how 4K/60 is indeed possible.

Again, as someone who was actually at E3, and played FM7: it runs at 4K/60 without issue. Since you're suggesting it doesn't, you can provide proof.

So it's your opinion and you choose to ignore the findings of well respected, independent experts who had access to the game and hardware and have carried out some detailed statistical analysis.

It might have been bad captures, but I will add that I don't remember ever seeing an official presentation stutter like the one for FM7 at E3. Gamescom is just around the corner, so hold your horses for now.

No one can have proof because the final game isnt out yet. I'm very skeptical, lets see.

I dont believe in any of the so called experts, I only believe in what I see for myself.

I've downloaded the two direct captures provided by Digital Foundry of gameplay from E3. On my 4K OLED with HDR enabled they look stunning and are buttery smooth without a hint of frame drops. I don't think we can draw too many conclusions from the footage shown at the presentation.

No one can have proof because the final game isnt out yet.

That doesn't seemed to have stopped you from telling us it's impossible.

Edit: Apologies to @Nielsen . I edited this to include the reply to NixxxoN after he liked my post. So only take his like to mean my reply to him.

Yet again you struggle to get the difference between stating a fact and posting an opinion
Nope.

That's not stating an opinion thats you telling us that 'Xbox one X isn't powerful enough for 4k 60fps.'

It's all immaterial however, @SlipZtrEm has already informed us he was at e3, played a demo of the game on the hardware and has confirmed it was buttery smooth at 4k.

It's obvious you don't know how videos on youtube works. Are you serious?

So then stop saying that it can't if you can't prove it either. You have no proof of anything you're stating.

Yet again you struggle to get the difference between stating a fact and posting an opinion
You didn't post it as an opinion, you said it wont.
It is
You'll see
And this just confirms it that you meant it as a fact, if you're telling people "you'll see." Your ignorance is hilarious.

For what reason? The developer has three previous games dating back to 2011 that targeted a locked 60fps and hit it — something no other racing dev has done.

I dont believe in any of the so called experts, I only believe in what I see for myself.

Right, because you're planning on getting an XB1 X to try it for yourself?

This has nothing to do with what you see, it has to do with what you feel, because you're so blinkered by your fanaticism for one franchise in particular. Facts rarely enter into your posts. As an example:

It is
You'll see

No. You are stating something as a fact — and you've already been proven wrong in this very thread. Continuing to ignore this, to repeatedly post your own opinions and present them as facts, will be treated as the trolling it very much is.

It's fine if you want to stick your fingers in your ears to ignore any of the news about the game — we both know you have no intentions of playing it — but do not represent your incredibly uninformed opinions as facts.

Apologies for mini-modding but can we just let this rest?

@NixxxoN has made his mind up, and others have theirs. This forum's been getting more and more argumentative and petty recently and it's not nice to see.

Just wait for the game to come out and count the pixels yourself you believe if it's a critical issue and don't trust the words of those who have either {a} seen the footage running natively already or {b} read first-hand reports of people who have done {a}.

What makes me believe them is the fact that I can achieve 4K@60FPS on my PC with Forza Apex and that wasn't even written from the ground up for PC.

Oops... sorry @PJTierney, didn't see your post before mine. @NixxxoN came here on a griefing run and we all took the bait and ran with it.

@NixxxoN came here on a griefing run and we all took the bait and ran with it.
Not so much an issue. The guy has an issue with people calling out his favorite game in the GTS forum, so he decided to come over here and try to pretend like this course of action is justified. It's written all over him, and his actions here just solidifies the fact that he is not looking for an honest comparison, or trying to learn anything from it. He is just coming in to start griefing, but doesn't realize that he is just jeopardizing his own membership here.

Just wait for the game to come out and count the pixels yourself you believe if it's a critical issue and don't trust the words of those who have either {a} seen the footage running natively already or {b} read first-hand reports of people who have done {a}.
That would all be fine if he was actually interested in doing any of that. He's not willing to use any factual information.

Thanks. Can't wait to experience all of those in glorious 4k 60fps

Reading that the team flew out to Japan to scan an original 22B brings me hope that they're finally fixing a few of the uncanny valley models

American cars just don't interest me all that much...Would have preferred a European theme. I can't really see any new cars to the Forza series in that list (please correct me if I'm wrong) Is the Pontiac G8 GXP returning from Forza 4?

G8 gxp is from forza 4, yes. Welcome back for that car. More then likely a European them will follow next week as we haven't seen anything from bmw, Audi or Mercedes yet. It's coming...

Side note; we still only have less then 10 new to forza cars so far. So either they are saving the new cars for last or this game will be filled with previous forza game cars which isn't too bad but we need new cars.
