If you are tired of my attitude then put me on your ignore list. That would easily solve that problem. I'm honestly getting tired of your personal attacks, which I will take care of shortly. And yes I can clearly read for the record.
First of all, if you felt attacked by my posts, I apologize. I'm deeply sorry for that.
You suggested that it needed to be proved that Forza 3 was better then GT5, I asked you to prove vice versa, which you have yet to do.
The problem is that, with both games still not out, why Forza developers say their game is the best game? Most of the people have already said nobody can grant that for sure until we get to play both, and compare them. I agree, though I won't be able to do so myself.
The point is they can't prove their game is better than GT5. They just can't, because none is out yet. And even if Forza 3 was out, GT5 isn't. I can't prove GT5 is a better game than Forza 3 for the same reason, but that doesn't matter, cause I never said it was.
After all, I'm not the one that made those bolds claims.
To put it simple: No one should say one game is better than the other game, when they are not even released yet. If they do, they must prove it.
You claimed that PD has nothing to prove, even though the call themselves the "real driving simulator" which I do not think, nor judging by many of the threads on this forum, that PD has actually lived up to.
Saying a company has nothing to prove, especially when they make a bold claim, is saying that their product is already up to standard or beyond. Saying Forza 3 has nothing to prove means that it's below the standard. By that, you are saying GT5 is better.
I have clearly stated that I think Forza 3 has a lot to live up to since there has been quite a bit of hype surrounding the game. I believe GT5 has just as much to live up to as well.
When I mean "prove", I think I'm making clear that I mean GT5 doesn't have to prove anyone that it
may be better/same/worse than Forza, because they didn't say they were better than Forza. GT's slogan is "The Real Driving Simulation". It's a simulation, just that. It doesn't have to be 100% exact, with no room for errors. Along with Forza, it falls on the category of Driving simulators. As such, it would also go for Forza too, but GT just decided to use it as a slogan.
Don't take me wrong. I do believe GT5 has to live up, but not to our expectations, but for what they promised. With over thousands of cars this forum wants, why does GT5 has to dissapoint if just one of them is missing? People are so spoiled these days, they ask so many things. The same goes for Forza. I never go to the Forza sub-forum. I know Forza has Lamborghini, and cars like those. I'm just not interested in them. I like the fact GT has so many everyday cars. That's why I like GT more. If Forza gets more everyday cars than GT, maybe I will turn to Forza instead.
