E3 build maybe (Che said that...) but the main middle screens view has been zoomed in since E3 causing the big mismatch of the triple screens, so it's not exactly the same.

Thats one of the adjustable settings with the triple screen setup.

It's called degrees hidden and they have it up too high. It would make the game look very strange too.

Shift with the Ring looks nice on 3 screens... really looks like youre in the car... sense of speed also seems very high but that could be due to the circuit itself as well...

Its more then likely due to the triple screen.

Having a proper FoV going out forward destroys the sense of speed but having 2 extra screens on the side to show what is going past you helps alot.

As I stated before, were it not for the statements and actions of the Turn 10 staff - I would have bought and played Forza 3- but now, I will not.

I despise hypocrites, I loathe lairs and I detest braggers. Turn 10 is all three of those things in one press conference.

Fanboys are a plague and all they are out there to do is spark massive, endless debates about something that in the end can't be seen as any better or any worse than anything else. Forza 3 is going to be good, GT5 is going to be good. They are both very respectable console racing sims. I don't think one is going to be any better than the other in terms of features and what not...one very well may be more entertaining.

You are quite right, both Forza and GT are definitive racing games on their respective consoles. They aren't going to be identical because of being on different platforms, and it's pretty clear both the 360 and PS3 cater to different crowds, with a small overlap who enjoy both.

Why would you judge the quality's of a game by the names that are in the credits list? I know it's Kazunori's dream to develop the ultimate racing simulation game. And as he said, we are never done with a game. There are always points to upgrade. But they have to release it sometime. And that's what I like of Polyphony Digital: They try to reach the best level. EA with their NFS is just **** and bring out a game about every year...

Yep the arrogance of T10 sucks, but on the other hand they got a reason for it. They managed something that took PD over 10 year to reach (if they do that is).
But well, still no reason to get cocky indeed. One thing that i do like about T10 is that they have a forum on the official website where the fans can ask questions and submit suggestions to the devs. Dunno if the seriously do something with the suggestions but at least it gives the fans on the forums the idea that they can help making the game better and come up with good idea's.
I still hate it that Polyphony doesn't have something like this. The should make an official forum on the GT website, and assign a employee of PD as community manager and let him check the forums for 1/2 hours a day. That way posting suggestions or criticisms doesn't feel as useless as it does on a third party forum that is probably never read by any of the developers.

I think people use T10's arrogance as an excuse, or have incredibly high double standards..

I take all devs/manufacturers with a pinch of salt, and just ignore their claptrap, or I'd not buy anything at all..

Sony for example, the whole "The next generation doesn't start until we say so", and "The PS3 is twice as powerful as the 360"..

And lets not forget Kaz's famous "I can't play more then 5 minutes of (Forza) as the poor quality just stands out too much"..

Sure T10 seem to have had the MS Marketing machine thrown at them big style, sure what they say is idiotic, I don't see anyone saying anything different..

Yamauchi: Straight off the bat, I think that in terms of feature sets, Forza is ahead of us. They have more options, you can do basically anything. We take a different approach obviously - we try to concentrate on what are the core values for a racing game, and we try to elevate those standards up as high as we possibly can. I am having difficulty trying to explain the differences, but one way you can look at it is, you can buy a watch that is super multifunctional, but economical, or a watch that is reduced in functions, but premium - higher end.

Joey, you obviously missed my point. But I promise you this, one game has a soul while the other is out to get that soul. Vocally and with no tact whatsoever. This is what T10 is doing in my eyes. This is what I think. I don't think the game is bad, I just see it in different colors, which I do not like so much. On the other hand, I don't LOVE Sony or PD. I like what they are doing, because when I look at the scales, they have done more good than harm.

T10 just need more tact and class. I see them as, sorry to say it, stupid and childish.

I'm not going to get into a discussion on how what you said could have been misleading. Although I would recommend that with these issues, that you just go ahead and quote the thing from the source. As your first quote made it seem as if it was a direct attack on Forza, but the second one Kaz says "other games".
