Is this a Standard car? It's not up to pair with the Premiums, i can't figure it out..

I think maybe because the image looks a little washed out (at least the car does). It looks very good though.

Premium: Clear windows, actual interior, door handles and panel gaps are actulaly molded in.

A lot of the shots we have been seeing are very well done shots... not every shot will be uber sexy... it's just how photography works, takes some skill to frame and get a good shot.

Also the wheels on this car are one of the textures that don't render realistically even in GT5... flatish matte tends to come out too flat and CGI looking instead of real like the shiny parts do.

I'm not picky on the graphics front myself but did anyone else notice that 'Renaultsport' is reversed on the right front seat? :sly:

But whats bad about it?

I think what he is seeing is the lack of shiny... a huge part of GT's sexy car look comes from over the top shiny... like 9 layers of carnuba in a showroom shiny... when you come across the matte texturs in flat lighting or even the body panels with no contrast, suddenly that magic shiny coating is gone and you see only the plane jane car model.

I'm going to say it was a really good rationlization, becaues that issue was touched on with Forza rollovers and around here it was considered quite the lazy move by T10 and their outsourced modeling...

I see^^. Sure it would be great to see modeled undercarrieges on rally and racecars, IF those have realistic damage, which they clearly don't. Maybe on the PS4 then.

I spent way too much on this car. 1080p link under picture.

I know, I just wanted to hear his reasons for thinking it but you answered it for him :).

Wow, that looks great. What kind of Aero Mods can you do to it? I wouldn't mind having a LFA similar to the one raced at the Nurburgring 24hr.

I think the quality of premium cars varies like it seems to do on standard cars. I've seen some shots of premium cars in this thread which doesn't look much better than some of the best looking standard cars.

I don't think it's the quality. It all depends on the angle, location, a bit of practice, camera settings, etc.
I've taken some horrible premium pictures since some cars are just not photogenic. :sly:

Am i wrong or it seems that cars look drastically better on these 'posing' places, then on the track/in the replay?

I guess you're right but you have to figure that those places are just made for picture taking while the tracks are not. It will be all up to skill and timing.

Edit: Sorry for double posting.

Well I would assume the cars in real time would have to be dumb down to handle all the action and other cars.

I dont think the cars are dumbed down in race... its the rendering engine that is different. In photomode there is loads of AA and lightning etc... but the models are pretty much the same you race with..

Cool, would you mind uploading a gameplay video? I'm eager to hear that Yamaha built V10 screaming. :P

Unfortunately I do not have the equipment to upload anything decent and this game does not deserve anything lower than HD quality. But let me say this. You won't be disappointed. 👍

I just bought this and threw some rims on it
The racing modification for it is 175,000, but it looks neat!

Is that photo mode? If so this is the worst environment I've seen so far in photo mode. The textures on pretty much everything look horrid. Car looks great though except for the fact that you should have put Magnum 500 rims on that beauty. Modern rims on a classic is blasphemy! :P
