I would add the only other date I have in mind is Friday 27th November. Im sure either this date or the 4th Dec is going to be the likely release date.

The reason is simple Sony will use GT5 to sell PS3 consoles. So expect on either of these dates a bundle consisting of GT5 with a price drop of £100 off the PS3. These dates are when xmas shopping reaches its peak.

Most of us know about the "Christmas card," but Jordan - and SONY both - are being coy about the actual proposed date, so it might not be December. In fact, the actual release date may still slip a few weeks, plus. But just knowing that they're aiming for 2009 at this late date, honestly I doubt anyone really cares, even if it's December 31st.

I'm going to say it'll be either 1st or 2nd of December. Jordans post with the Christmas card hinting a xmas release, and also going back to Amar212's cryptic message:

Thirty nights before 12 months pass. 12 months pass = end of the year, thirty nights before the end of the year.
