Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

I´m still worried about the engine sounds...I like every aspect of the game even by not being on PS4...but hell, I´m so broke that it is better to have it in the PS3. lol

Not sure if this has been posted already, but the "Massive scenery spanning several tens of square kilometers" looks amazing...could this mean we get some sort of free-roam mode? Because that looks huge (unless some parts aren't properly modeled/not for driving). And this Ronda, Andalucia, Spain I think.

 Now that would be amazing! If that's true I'll love GT6.

It's GT5.5 really, isn't it?

SO we will only get 7 new tracks and 60 new cars, that can't be right

Seems like that... :indiff:

Jordan mentioned earlier via Twitter that he saw the game cover of GT6... so what car was on it? Did he ever tell us?

Yes, he twittered the car on the cover will be the same blue cover we've seen on the 15th Anniversary announcements already.

What this tells me is that PD is going to pump DLC into GT6 like crazy.

I doubt that, looking back how they kept their DLC 'promises' for GT5 not even half a year.
But who knows, I still hope to be positively surprised.

I can't think of a city I'd want to drive in less.

Let me know if you have any questions for Kazunori.

So someone with a twitter account maybe tell jordan to ask about the sounds etc?

Ronda is a cool place. Been there on holiday quite a few times. There are some very cool roads driving up to Ronda from the coast.

The bridge is a great site. It has also got one of the oldest bullrings in Spain there - right near the bridge.

The problem is in mid 2014 are you going to want to buy GT6 track DLC over brand new games for the PS4, and the console itself? I can't say that I would be.

Yes, I will for sure and why not. GT on the PS4 will not be out by mid 2014 or even by the end of 2014. By mid 2014, GT6 on the PS3 is going to be around 6 months old and the only GT fix worth playing so why would you not buy some new track to keep playing the game. Makes sense to me.

It is unclear if they mean 7 new tracks compared to the vanilla version of GT5 or GT5+all DLC.

The "vanilla" version of GT5 has 27 different tracks (26 if you count Eiger Nordwand Dirt and Road courses as the same track) for a total of 52 different layouts excluding reverse variations of original tracks.

Do we know anything about the 1200 cars, or are people just assuming?

Do you really think PD modeled 1000 premium cars? LOL it takes them months to model one car...and if they did why wouldn't they show them off in the trailer rather than having it comprised of 75% cars that are already in GT5, the fact is this could be released as DLC for GT5, nothing new worthwhile was shown that couldn't be implemented in GT5, and that's what they get for sticking with old hardware.

Assumptions of course. All we know is the number.

Except Sony said that every car in GT5 was returning, so we know the number and we know (roughly) how many of that number is new cars. We can't know anymore than what Sony tells us.

As far as Premium/Standards go, though, yes. We really don't know anything.

Actually, no. Most of the features couldn't have been included in GT5 through DLC.

My biggest questions right now are:

1.Will there be a "Standard/Premium divide.
2.The sounds.
3."Personalized cars", does that mean Livery editor?
4.PS4 plans.
5.Montly track DLC.

Very satisfying announcement. More than I expected besides cars and tracks. Just 7 new tracks? Sounds like almost none when you subtract the previous DLCs :-( The rest sounds great: new physics, new aerodynamics, more customization, improved menus, improved online modes, ... very good besides the fact that I would love to see cross play: PS3 and PS4.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but since the official site states..

• Multiple aerodynamic parts and custom wheels will be available for almost all cars.
• Players can create their own personalized custom car in the game.

... there should be some excitement over the possibilities.

Nothing new
GT 1/2 PS1
GT 3/4 PS2
GT 5/6 PS3.

GT 7/8 PS4 and so on.

Something I have stated (others to) on this website many times.

My question:

Standard Cars Ratio
How will the online DLC tracks be integrated to the career mode
Day/Night/Weather for most/all tracks?
Sounds

Annnd, I think I'll stop here. I remember questions about GT6 specifically about content probably won't be answered as they are saving some stuff for E3 and Gamescom.

Except Sony said that every car in GT5 was returning, so we know the number and we know (roughly) how many of that number is new cars. We can't know anymore than what Sony tells us.

Yeah, I'm aware of all that of course. My point was the 80% standard people are quickly to assume, in which as you say we don't know yet.

Really? Sounds like gt5, patched more. Worst GT announcement ever.

I assume it's new tracks, as Spa, Kart Space and Route X were in GT5. DLC is part of the game, after all.

Well on the topic of the 7 new tracks and the 60? new cars. 59 maybe? we already know they have the velostar, genesis, the dino, the audi race car, that sls, the SEMA award winner, that rocket car. Thats all i can think of that cuts down the new list to about 52 53?
