Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

GUYS!

Can you please finally understand that GT6 is PS3 game?

1st: take a look at the start of the anniversary teaser - it's PS3 "PS" logo, not the blue PS4 one...

2nd: take a look at the end of the same teaser - PS3 again.

3rd: the GT Academy' Nissan has PS3 stickers, still.

Here's a better look at that white car. Looks like the GTR concept no?

No one noticed that one of the manufacturers supporting the Silverstone event is KTM.

Guess that points towards a X-bow in the next release.

Edit - treed

KTM? Would someone like to explain? Best I could find was motorcycles.

Wow, some guy in GAF posted a comparison between the real Silverstone and the one at the beggining of the video.

Darn, they look different, the window in comparison look really gamey and the white and black thingy I forgot the name is so different. I don't know how to post GIFs but check that out in GAF or just post it here.

damn I'm gonna try to post it up.

Damn, it's so gamey, look at the windows. The pit-stop and everything. The sun reflections on the checkered thing.

So, lemme get this straight, we're waiting another week for more info? Yay!! Commence week long speculation marathon!!

My 2 cents: That Silverstone in the video looks rather gamey in place, but on a level better than GT5, many of us can agree on that I think.

That white car I dont think is the GTR Concept as Im sure the GTR Concept doesnt have the side vent, and the road going GTR's vent is flipped.

G.T.Ace
No it doesn't.

OK, true. I've just had a thought though, doesn't the Noble M12 look a bit like it?

The video appears to swap between reality and virtual reality, though the lighting looks different to GT5.

I can't remember clearly as it was a fair few months back but I distinctly remember GT:A looking better than GT5 in some ways at the time, but not to this degree.

So, it's either pre-rendered in the GT5 engine and Silverstone will be DLC after this years GT:A which will be held at Silverstone reminiscent of last years deal. (Doubtful, however possible)

Or, more likely - GT6 announcement with more news to come at E3 with a September to December release.

/speculation

Is the X-Bow the car featured in Race of the Champions?

Yes, looks different. The sunset does not look like real video footage, either. So, maybe it's a great composition of real footage (Jann's car and inside car takes) and rendered in-game graphics.

I hate to say it, but if those in-game looking shots are really GT6, the graphics kinda sucks, looks like ordinary GT5.. So either GT6 is coming to PS3 with not so greatly revamped visuals as we fear or they simply didn't want to show real GT6 footage yet but wanted to give hints...

The in car footage is a good distraction that throws you off the scent, who ever designed this video is rather bright and understands how visual cues work.

However, when you ignore the in car footage it becomes much easier to pick apart where they're displaying ingame footage.

That's all there is to say though really, there's footage of a virtual world with real life footage spliced in. There's no way of knowing what engine produced these scenes other than what we can speculate from what's happening visually (IE that the lighting system feels very different from how the GT5 Engine handles lighting.)

The teaser car is actually the new Hex Hybrid.

The graphics don't need improving (although reducing quality as some have suggested would be a dreadful mistake. It's features and content that will make the game.

I'd much rather have reduced pixelation and screen tearing than have higher quality graphics.

The sky seems to be very 'HDR'. I hope they're not going down the T10 route of over doing the lighting system, in saying that, cars would look so much better.

There better not be a single standard in GT6 otherwise I'll hang myself.

+infinity. The screen tearing is so annoying.

I've seen several FM4 videos and I can't even see the time or any important thing on screen when the car is pointing towards the sky.
