Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

That white GTR like car we all saw in the video which obviously isn't in the game sure has a similar silhouette to the car under the sheets in this:

It doesn't look completely alike but the length of it does sort of resemble it. The rear is off though.

To me it looks like a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta 👍

It remains a mystery, can someone cap a pic showing slightly more from the side profile as can be seen in the video?

No, it has a 911-style glasshouse with GT-R-style rear lights (although all the same size), Lamborghini Aventador mirrors and the rest sort of resembles a Lister Storm slightly.

ummm idk, its too angular to be a GTR, or a Lister. My guess is rare (small company) exotic, "lost" car from history ie. Cizeta, or an exclusive (fantasy) car.

Anyone else think this could be the cover car under the sheet? Or am I just crazy

Viper. The dip from the base of the windshield to the roof looks very Viper-esque.

Adding the Viper to GT shows it can remain current with U.S. marketed fans (especially those who loved it in Forza), PD's ability grab the SRT brand, and PD's ability to bolster its supercar roster.

As somebody said earlier, the car underneath the blue cover is without a doubt a Scion FRS/Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ. Look at the shape. Especially on the lower front fender. Those characteristic flares of the 86/FRS/BRZ can be seen.

Well it's a bit of a hack job if it is...

Well (warning: speculation mode on 11), that might be deliberate if it's indeed created with a car creator function and if they intend for us to speculate about that.
If it were a perfectly cohesive design, it wouldn't even prompted me to suggest it (just a car I wasn't aware of).

It could work by either having pre-existing templates (a fixed glasshouse so that a default interior view is possible but the rest of the exterior can be styled within limitations) and the GT-R style rear lights could suggest borrowing parts from other cars in the game already modelled.

Or it could be some customization-feature where you can alter existing cars to the extend they become unrecognizable (and also fit other parts like lights from other cars).
It's just odd to have the familiar ghost cars and then suddenly this thing in the first trailer since ages.

Maybe you didn't see the superimposed pictures earlier in the thread but the shape doesn't match the 86 series.

As far as the mystery car, why does it say GT4 on the back if it's not a car from GT4?

I also suspect another DLC for GT5 to celebrate the 15th years of GT. It is curious how they used the song from GT1's intro, the gt1 plate on the skyline r34 (teaser video) gt2 on the second passed by the GTR etc... Something has to do with the old GT series....
