The LFA is the only returning premium car from the PS3 era, but there’s a handful of former standard cars. It’s a bit strange.
Spec 2 was a fab update
Yeah thats what the rest of my post said?The updates before and after spec 2 were notably lacking in content, so it was less that spec 2 was good, but probably had content pinched from other updates. We didn't get more content, we just got it all at once to make us think we got more.
Having a look at that X post. Went to have a look at Kaz’ past posts. This one popped up

Today is Gran Turismo's birthday.
It was first released in Japan on December 23, 1997. The package includes R34 GT-R and JZA80 Supra.
The photo was taken in the paddock of Sportsland Sugo.
A circuit still not in the franchise. We’ll see what 2024 brings…
The cover shows the R33 GT-R. Kaz got it wrong.How can the GT-R be an R34 when the car didn't come out until 2 years after the game released in 1997?

I would love at least one more Japanese circuits! Japan has got only 8 circuits venues in GT7. (9th circuit in the category is Australian.)Sugo confirmed!
But not!
I won’t be satisfied with the Japanese circuit lineup until they bring back Motegi. Sugo was one of my least driven circuits in Project CARS 2.I would love at least one more Japanese circuits! Japan has got only 8 circuits venues in GT7. (9th circuit in the category is Australian.)
The Far East has iconic and fun circuits that could be added, such as Inje Speedium and Everland Speedway (ROK), Macau and Shanghai (CHN), Sidney Motorsports and Phillip Island (AUS), Hampton Downs Motorspost and Highlands Motorsport (NZL).I would love at least one more Japanese circuits! And only two in 2022, being the Cappuccino EA11R and the Celica Rally Car. Here's hoping for more in '24! Of the roughly 200 options, I hope one is the Kübelwagen, to duel with the Jeep.The LFA is the only returning premium car from the PS3 era, but there’s a handful of former standard cars. My wish for 2024 is we get at least one of the Japanese's tracks that are missing in GT7 - Okayama , Sugo and MotegiEven though the oval isn't in a usable state anymore, I'd love to see Polyphony digitally restore it if Motegi came back. That kind of intermediate oval would be something unique to what we already have, and a digital restoration of it could be a neat marketing/documentary thing
Those are the 3 big ones in Japan left.My wish for 2024 is we get at least one of the Japanese's tracks that are missing in GT7 - Okayama , Sugo and Motegi
it would be great..but I dont expect new super gt, new gt3, new lemans protos etc ..till next game..Those are the 3 big ones in Japan left.
Looking at the calendars, Sugo & Motegi feature in both Super GT & Super Formula, while Okayama only features in Super GT.
Autopolis was released around the same time as the Dallara SF19, so if we see any of them I'd speculate it would come alongside a trio of 2024 GT500 cars as a themed update.
The main generations of GT500 we have are 2008 & 2016, so if they continue to have that 8 year gap, the 2024 cars would be next. When they would be added to the game could vary though.
It also helps that for 2024, all of the manufacturers will have newer models than the ones we have in-game:
Nissan: GT-R -> Z
Honda: NSX -> Civic
Lexus/Toyota: RC F -> Supra
what about Daytona tri-oval ?Even though the oval isn't in a usable state anymore, I'd love to see Polyphony digitally restore it if Motegi came back. That kind of intermediate 1.5-mile oval would be something unique to what we already have, and a digital restoration of it could be a neat marketing/documentary piece
If it were like the end of the video, hells to the yes.Even though the oval isn't in a usable state anymore, I'd love to see Polyphony digitally restore it if Motegi came back. Daytona is what's known as a "Super Speedway", at 2.5 miles long, and you don't need to lift off of the throttle really. Motegi's oval at 1.5 miles would be classed as an "Intermediate", and requires lifting if not some light braking.what about Daytona tri-oval ?
What about Tokyo R246?...My wish for 2024 is we get at least one of the Japanese's tracks that are missing in GT7 - Okayama , Sugo and Motegi
