Out of all people that received a review copy, this guy was the one I wanted to hear impressions from. Sadly he didn’t get a copy. And as he correctly points out: almost nobody is talking about physics, force feedback and so on…

As others have mentioned, plenty of reviews have discussed this, particularly the physics bit.

Any idea if arcade mode is similar to GTS where you complete a race on a track on any difficulty and then the course's difficulty has been cleared?

I was very happy to not have mic chat in GTS. There are just way too many mic spamming randys in online gaming.
I always troll with friends whenever I have the chance of having a mic lol, especially in Valorant.

Super GT said curbs are dangerous now, wonder how lap times will look on the Ring. You could get away with alot on GTSport
With this in mind, i don't think I'll ever drive on the ring again. jk

Did you see him spin on the straight during his lap on the ring from the bumps on the track? Was nice!!
Yeah on the straight line, the car jumped a little bit due to the bumps, and a second later it lost all of the control!

That’s why I feel there are now more parameters, when people trying to pick a META. He said the different Cars he tried behaved differently. We’ll have to see how PD do the free practice sessions. If the track conditions change on race day, there’s going to be a lot of weeping and gnashing of teeth.

A lot of the reviewers are talking about physics while using counter steering assist, that is a red flag for me.
I used CSA for cars like the 458 instead of the ASM systems to mimic the advanced handling mode the 458 has, and it worked great.. let the car get just enough sideways to feel the rawness but help you stay in check. This was for only testing reasons, for only thing I use in GTS is abs weak. I understand where you coming from though.

One potential issue I see is qualification for daily races. I hope that stay static all the time. Otherwise it’s impossible to set the fastest lap without the best conditions possible. And I’m talking the best time.

So guys, some publications say it's quite hard to warn credits in GT7 and we can't sell cars for credits.

Has anyone heard different? 🤔

Just curious.

GOOD.

We had life too easy in GT Sport.

Free tires, daily free cars from workouts, no progression, no goals. I'm happy there will be a goal for me to achieve every time I log on probably for the next year. I have missed that from the previous games. I'm still admittedly salty about not being able to sell cars again, but it shouldn't have been very surprising once we heard about how the entire games career is based around collecting now.

One would think once you hit the end credits/'end', you will be allowed to sell cars... but this is Polyphony we are talking about, so who knows. Either way, I'm discarding whichever cars I don't need once I finished the Cafe portion of the game.

Generally, I save doubles and create different liveries on them, so that's not an issue really.
But hard to earn credits... while they sell credits on the store+allow buying cars directly from store isn't a good look.

I do hope we have a race like the one in Monza for farming credits.

I really don't want to take a year to buy one 20 mil car..

This will upset the self-entitled gamers 🤣

I don't know if I'd agree with that

Repeating one race in GT Sport, compared to GT6, was waaaaay more of a choir (Mostly because the daily login bonus was nowhere to be found) and that still got you more credits then winning a Sport mode race (even the FIA races). Sure we had cars from the dailies but dupes that could only be made different with liveries was hardly something enjoyed after a while (and even then, it was far from a sure bet you'd get one of the million credit cars for instance. That Jag is forever the luckiest draw I got from there).

We haven't publicly seen the very late game events yet but the payouts up to the mid-level aren't particularly high, no. 20-30,000 is pretty common for payouts and that isn't going to go very far with the high cost of cars but also if you want to upgrade lots of your cars, that's only going to buy you a set of tyres.

They seem to be pushing strongly towards the "buy credits with real money" microtransactions but unsurprisingly there hasn't been much outrage at this here yet, whereas if it was for another game people would be up in arms that you can directly buy in-game credits with real money.

They seem to have gone too far the other direction though. Whilst you'll end up with about 90 free cars by the end of the career mode the payouts are not going to get you very far if you want to upgrade your cars, something that wasn't present in GTS. In that game you only needed credits to buy cars, and even then grinding to get the most expensive cars was a long and dull task.

If the payouts towards the end of the game don't ramp up you're going to be constantly grinding to afford to fully kit out hundreds of cars. Upgrades are NOT cheap.

Oh, I think we’ll still see no wear during FP. However, how about a wet or 24H cycle race? What may have worked in FP, might not translate during the race. I’m loving the possibilities.

This as well. My main account will probably collect as much I can. I definitely know I won’t be using that Mercedes Barker for anything outside of career, if we have to use it. For sure know I won’t spend my earned credits if I don’t have to use it. However, Custom Race has just opened the floodgates for all cars in the game.

I don't think I've seen any 20 million cars yet? Might not be a thing in GT7, thankfully.
