It's a bit ironic for the A.I. to be slow when they have GT Sport driver names on them, especially the ones who won championships. I'm pretty sure if I actually went against any of them, I would probably be left in the dust.

Also seeing the credit limit go up with the bonus credits confirms in my head that PD lowed the limit just so they could charge money to raise it again. That's dumb.

It's the same with every views, even the cockpit.
And the others cars in front of you sounds on your back

Your settings are wrong then either in the PS5 menu, your TV or your surround system. I get engine noises from the front and sides with a FR car. (Some from the side speakers makes sense since the sound is reverberating off the windows.) PS5 setting should be Dolby not Linear PCM. Make sure to also check the angles of your speakers in the PS5 menu system as well.

Absolutely. I’m convinced I would have a better time if the new cars and four additional tracks were added to GT Sport.
I am not sure why I but I hate GT7 and that never happened before with GT. Maybe the trolling with microtransactions is so bad. I did one race today and earned 8000. It's not much but better than time trials. I don't want to play this game again. :D

It’s not that people can’t take criticism, it’s that the critics sound like broken records at this point.
But I've never seen so broken game. It's beyond impossible. Remember how Motorsport 7 had a problem with microtransactions? This is much worse and Forza was destroyed by that.

We don't want to play catch up. It's quite simple. Yes in the most literal sense if a real race driver starts 4th and wants to win he has to "catch up" to the three cars ahead, but he can do that within seconds of the start and then spend the race battling with the cars. From start to finish. It's not the same as the GT catchup at all and I'm sure you know that.

We just want to race like real racing drivers. All on the grid at the start, and we go racing together.

That is never going to happen when you are always 30 seconds behind at the start, and all the AI cars are evenly spaced apart.
Pretty much every GT has been like that.
There was one where you had qualifying but I don't remember which one.

Or he could play the races meant for experienced drivers instead of the ones meant for beginners. The Daytona Gr. 3 race you start 3 seconds behind in 11th place and it's a hard fight for 10 laps to the finish line. Don't complain how hard it is to dive when you won't leave the kiddy pool.

If I remember correctly GT2 had qualifying.-

Which was boring because you could easily tune your cars so you would always get pole position and lead from the front never seeing another car until you lapped them. The all new PP system keeps people honest and if you play the high level races they are very challenging.

What other games do you play? Because this doesn't look like racing to me at all.

What’s exactly better about GT7? I’ll wait.
Visuals, physics, tuning, customisation, car list track list, higher chili races have better AI, sound, controller feel.

That's my list. Now the game is far from perfect, there currently isn't enough events in the single player campaign, some design choices are frustrating like the engine swap mechanic (though that's arguably made bad because of the rigged roulette), takes a few too many button presses to get places.

The only thing that really holds GT7 back for me is the lack of events, but that doesn't make it worse than GTS to me, not by a long way.

The physics, the weather, the nighttime effects, and the AI. Otherwise, I do agree with you. I’m sure there’s more content coming to 7, very very soon, I hope, but as things are right now, if it were possible to have 7’s weather etc grafted into all Sport’s races then I’d very much prefer driving those to what 7 currently offers. Imagine those F1500 or Nostalgia races with rain or darkness.

If things haven’t substantially changed in a month or three, if 7’s content hasn’t been significantly boosted by then, PD will lose a lot of support. The backlash in Japan (which is what PD and Kaz will care most about) is pretty severe, I’m hearing, so I expect big changes soon.

I play in PS4 and the settings are right. Other games sounds correctly, even GTS sounds fine and gt7 in the 1.05 version sounds correctly too

All of the first four. And they had grid starts too; the very first "chase the rabbit" style event, where the lead cars are way up the road when you start, were missions in GT4.

I'd have to go back and double-check, but I don't think any GT game had rolling starts at any race or track until GT4. If I recall correctly, GT4 also only had qualifying in championship races, not in single events.

I’m on PS4 and to me the graphics are worse. They feel very cartoony.

I hate tuning so that’s probably on me. But I much prefer not having to tune a car to make it decent.

The car list is kinda pointless since you can’t get them. Instead of a daily workout car you get a 5,000 credit to maybe buy a racing muffler.

This is a hilarious statement to make when the game that Polyphony expects you to play (The Menus) are what you need to play in order to get to the actual end game content...and that even the World Circuit races with actual difficulty is still ultimately artificial because it's the same chase the rabbit archetype, except the rabbits are now more like hares.

I can't comment on PS4 but I haven't seen too many complaints, granted I haven't looked for them. Things like tuning and car lists are subjective but the car list is larger than GTS with almost everything that GTS had so in isolation it's better. I wouldn't say it's pointless because you can't get them, it's more pointless because of the lack of events than anything. It's just a different type of game to GTS, it's more akin to previous numbered titles, at which point there is then a more cohesive argument to be had in terms of is GT7 better than its numbered predecessor.
