According to DF's previous analysis, in frame-rate mode with VRR enabled on compatible TVs, it reaches around 80-90 fps during replays, but that's at a resolution of 1440p. In resolution mode at 4K with VRR on a standard PS5, frame rates reach around 50 fps.

The resolution option in VRR is even more interesting. On the surface, performance seems disappointing with typical gameplay frame-rates in the 70-100fps region, while replays hit the 50s regularly. However, that's because the game is rendering at a full 4K here, providing a seemingly identical presentation to the game in its 60Hz mode. Image quality is typically very nice and sharp, with a bit of aliasing on certain edges but otherwise looking very good on the whole.
i meant it during gameplay and yes during replays it is in 50s because of ray tracing

Sony said it was supposed to be delivered on release day, today. Guess not!
ps5 pro not on release day.jpg

Just realised i have GT7 on Disc, oh ffs! No way of getting disc drive with the Pro tomorrow :banghead: Crazy situation! Really hoping we see big improvements in VR its why i bought a Pro.

...if we get in-game ray tracing, get rid of those nasty pop-ins and increase some LOD distance it would be good use of the system's power. Expecting to receive my console today (+drive!), hopefully I get enough time to transfer data + test...

Pro has arrived currently in setup will report back this evening. Still got to do data transfer, disc drive and m2. Smart looking thing with the stand on though.

Cant transfer from M2 to PS5Pro, either swap it into the Pro, or move all data from M2 to PS5 integrated storage and then to PS5Pro (which definitly is slower).
Though I cant say if simply swapping M2 into the Pro does work (I think it should), or if it does need to initialize (shouldnt be the case).

I almost broke my disc drive, but fortunatly it still works.
