Looking forward to it, but if it's not streamed live in 4K it won't give a very good representation of the graphics. Most likely 4k videos will be released after but prepare for a lot of complaints among ignorant observers who don't realize why the previous footage released of the game look so much better.
Console war toxicity is on fire lately sadly and more after those business movements from PS and Xbox

as it is a PS4 game also, they could always just advertise it as PSVR on launch and I am sure PSVR2 will have BC with original PSVR titles. Obviously at VR2 launch they can show off the actual upgrades they have for PSVR2.
PSVR2 will definitely not have backwards compatibility with PSVR games. The tracking, controllers and display are far too different.

There’s a good chance it’s possible, Sony just need to figure out a way to translate the data output by PSVR into something PSVR2 can display. The only potential issue is games which require the Move controllers.

The Digital Foundry team talked about it here:

As much as I love Sony their BC efforts are not great. Not even all PS4 games work right on PS5 and that's a much simpler problem. Instead they will sell us remasters of the most popular games.

Well it obviously won't be actually live, just a pre-recorded video that Sony put on the YouTube premiere thing, so the quality should be typical YouTube quality, not like when actual live events like E3 are streamed actually live.

True, but I'm just going by past state of plays. Scheduled broadcasts cause a lot more stress on servers all at once than videos after the fact, and doing it in 4k is even more bandwith hogging.

So what surprises do we think we will see?

Track editor return would be pretty unexpected and awesome.
Some new F1 car?? I know is pretty difficult, but given the strong ties between PD and Red Bull I am surprised we never got any RB F1 car, would love to see the RB16B lol

With 18 hours to go, maybe a New partnership announcement?

Other than that, maybe Formula E at launch? That’d surprise me.

Surprise! Lotus and SCG make it into the game.

Yeah, Formula E makes a lot of sense because of Kaz talking about adding it to GT Sport in the past, but it never happening. I could see it having its own 'Special Event' challenges like WRC and NASCAR did in GT5.

Also, would not mind at all having one or two Formula E street courses. Those would add some nice spice to the track list that's missing from Sport.

Anything is possible, but I think this is highly unlikely. You will definitely see rereleased PSVR games thought.

Been nicely teased for awhile, but today the marketing boffins will have the hook set with some must buy bait for us all to clamp down on. Question is will it just be eye porn or have they something extra spicy and unanticipated to reel us in with? Could this be the day they announce the series debut of the fully customisable... robin reliant?

I hadn't really thought about the track editor as something that could return, but given the modern focus of creative play, perhaps it's as obvious as a staple of that part of gaming as photomodes are, now? Horizon has it with blueprints, Minecraft and its ilk are as much about personal creative entertainment as they are dungeon crawling.

Maybe a track editor is something that we should be more or less expecting as a matter of course, by now.

Dirt 5 has it's version as well, with Playgrounds

Just spit balling but making a competition out of track editing might be good, with the best creation featuring in the online championship as a reward?

GT5 and GT6 had it so I've believed all along that it'd be a logical progression for an improved creator / editor to be provided.

Indeed, with several "themes". It might have been basic, but I still had fun with it.

Was really-bummed that the GT6 version required a mobile 'phone 'cause I can't use 'em (long story).
