Seems like they finaly add some goods to the ps5 with VRR support maybe 120hz!!!
But the changes for geometry, suspension kerb behave and aero concern me a bit. I hope it isnt going more and more in a Arcade direction…
yeah I'm curious what problems this is actually addressing - I race with only ABS weak and a touch of TCS1 on occasion but I don't have any issues with kerbs or bumpy surfaces that I would say are unexpected... I don't want that stuff ironed out. Perhaps it's specific to some cars...

Reducing the effectiveness of TCS1 is a good move, though they could have switched the scale from 5 to 10 while they were fiddling with it.

I wish they'd pay some attention to the force-feedback on wheels more than anything else in the physics department...

Agreed. If I was a betting man, I'd say they've gone through some of the overly-twitchy cars one by one, and tweaked the settings till they were a lot more drivable. I can't wait to see what they've done in regards to TCS. Having to run TCS-0 on full blown race cars in order to achieve maximum pace, is completely unrealistic. People forget that Polyphony developers do in fact play other titles. My guess is they've been taking their time incrementally messing with the physics, till they get something that is both realistic for wheel users, yet playable for the casual gamer.

Saw you're from San Diego. Whereabouts?

I hope that counts more for the bop stuff then i solved the kerb problems and snap overstear day1 and had never a problem again, except the wierd bop decision they made since release.
But we will see, my biggest concern is like i wrote before that it gets more arcade then it is right now. Then fixing cars by throwing more and more grip to it isnt really a solution, we are already up to 3 sec faster then on release so cross fingers we are not getting faster again.
And i also hope that haptic feedback on dualsense improve and of corse that they fix the ffb for wheel user.

Nice update, but when are you going to fix arcade mode? It's absurd that I can't choose the car from my garage before starting a race... 🧐

I think you just have to add your car to your favourites in the garage by pressing triangle and you should be able to use whatever you favourite. It’s the same in split screen unfortunately— and it doesn’t look like they did anything to fix the lack of adjustability (Transmission Choice, access to adjust Assists) for the 2nd player neither. Shame… 😞

That is the saddest part of GT7 for me. Me and my wife used to invite a couple of friends over to play GTSport - we would play in pairs, even without fuel and tire deg we would agree to make a certain number of pit stops and during those give controller to your other pair. We would write down wins and do “championships” consisting of several such races. I’m still hoping assists for player 2 will be fixed one day :(

Really hope we get a Gr.2 event now.
I think I'd be OK with waiting until we also get the DTM racers from Aston Martin, BMW, and Mercedes-AMG before getting a dedicated Gr.2 event. And maybe even a couple late-90s GT1 cars that would fit in there, too, like the Nissan R390 GT1, or the racing version of the Porsche 911 GT1, if only so that the McLaren-BMW F1 GTR and the CLK-LM don't feel too left out. (But I'd be very surprised if the Toyota TS020 doesn't end up in Gr.1.)

At that point, I'd also hope it's a championship - one that requires one of the later licenses. Recall that the final championship only requires the National A License. On that note, I think it'd also make perfect sense to have a F1500T-A (or X2019 Competition) championship that requires the Super License.

This! 911 GT1 race version (1998 one) and R390 GT1 also race version and icing on the cake TS020 and Bentley Speed 8!

Why would you? The LMPs from the 90s wouldn't stand a chance so it would be in the same class as the car it competed against in 1998.

Where did you hear this?
Sebring are rumors after the IMSA-GranTurismo agreement that already brought Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta. And the resistance races are a confirmation of Yamauchi own (from a year ago). But this is not the hilo for this.

The DTM cars were considerably slower than the GT1 cars at the time and if it's the 1998 spec GT-ONE it will be in Gr.2 otherwise it will be in Gr.1 unless PD nerf it to Gr.2.

Edit: Wait you were talking about the current DTM cars. 🤦‍♂️

I don't know how accurate are those numbers in the game.

Great update for all the changes to physics, tires, assists etc... Hopefully the MR cars issue in slow corners will get fixed.
I can't wait to try 120Fps as my TV supports it. It has to be butter smooth at 120fps
New cars are a "meh" for me. DTM and 959 I will buy. The minivan better have a fuming engine swap from day 1 otherwise useless. Mazda and old Porsche I couldn't care less.
Still no purchasable engine swaps or rare parts. PD if you want us to keep grinding for credits you have to allow us to buy these. I basically have all the expensive cars I wanted now and all the new ones. Keep me interested in playing daily to grind for parts and engines.

Me too. If we are going to get those events it better to have this class more fleshed out.
Also i hope for Panoz GTR. This car also was in older GT games and recently some games did get license for it so I think it isn't imposible to get this one.
