I think this sheds light on what may have been PD’s initial plan for these parts. Loot boxes. Perhaps MTX wasn’t originally planned for only credits. It is very possible that they were going to have MTX allowing players to purchase batches of tickets. How else can we explain the abysmal drop rate of rare parts?

No one playing this game, at a rate of 1 ticket a day, has any chance of getting all the rare parts nor a good chance to get all invitation cars. The odds are stacked against us, the players who paid full price for this AAA game.

I don’t feel bad at all about abusing this glitch.

I kept a engine ticket for the next patch in hopes I can get a new swap! Before anyone says tickets are predetermined yes I know they are. But with each major update the ticket rewards change which also changes your predetermined reward.

DAMMM IT! I had only one car, just 1 missing (NSX R, 92) to get the second extra menu, all other cars where there, even extra bought, just to use the engine roulette spin. And you guys patch it?? I had no chance to get the car, because the UCD is barley changing.

As much I would like for someone to dive into the code to see if there's code for handling paid tickets from PS Store, the problem with that is there's no official, in-game disclosure of odds atm (something games with paid loot boxes are required to do).

The Honda menu was literally the worst of the 3. Unless you wanted 100s of NSX rally cars for some reason.

If you had the Mazda and Toyota menu, you were living the dream.

The 92 NSX was actually available in the UCD during the glitch period - it'll no doubt return and you'll be able to complete the menu then. It's not like it affected the real bonanza

I can do the WTC800 at Sardegna in the GR010 Toyota in around 25-26 minutes.

Whilst there's still MTX in the game I doubt we'll be able to sell cars.

Well, it was while it lasted. I got a little over 20m Cr, 60 cars, over 200 engines, and a bunch of parts from it. I only ran the script a couple times. It would lag out on me and start missing the menu, so I did it manually for the most part. I wish I could've let it run while I was at work or sleeping, but I don't like to leave my stuff on and running while I'm not there to monitor it.

It is what it is. I had fun with it and got some stuff I might not ever get, otherwise.

Whilst there's still MTX in the game I doubt we'll be able to sell cars.

It was quoted that we would be able to sell cars at some point. However it’ll probably be like Sport where gift cars can’t be sold

id like to see something along those lines but not sure how that would work, as if they had a cars for sale section it would be inundated with the crap cars from peoples garages that they never even try out

That's exactly what I'm expecting. Slowly replace my bought cars with roulette cars like GTS. Very, very slowly with the GT7 roulette.
I don't know if the tuning element of the game will make this unviable now though.

A new game update will be available for Gran Turismo 7 this week, according to an in-game announcement and post on the official website...

I literally won't buy this game because it's essentially unplayable offline. This is the first Gran Turismo I didn't get right when it came out. I'm so disappointed.
