Now they need to reconsider making engines purchasable. As someone who could't play the game during the glitch, lost all the motivation to play this game knowing that sure there is an engine I will never have. The community is now split, not everyone can have this little fun this game could offer.

Edit: Weird anyone would "poo" react to this. We know it's not happening; the entire game is made around being permanently online because that's the approach taken to safeguard microtransactions.

GT Sport is also largely online, and - nearly five years since launch - does not have any meaningful offline functionality (or rather it does, you just can't save any progress)... yet people think GT7 will be made available offline if they sign enough petitions of complain enough about it less than four months in.

It's due to Jim Ryan, the current Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO who was responsible for manipulating this along with MLB The Show 22.

Exactly, at least no-one got banned/wiped. C* would do that in a heartbeat and have done in the past.

I am actually surprised it didn't get patched sooner to be honest, PD must have known about it for a good week or so.

Or maybe PD just thought after all the negative press the game has had they decided to throw the community a bone... atleast for a short period of time.

Now they just need to sort out the laggy lobbies!

I literally won't buy this game because it's essentially unplayable offline. This is the first Gran Turismo I didn't get right when it came out. I'm so disappointed.

sure, but the battery goes dry at the end...
the CLK runs it like a dream, so superior to other cars with hard tyres

when you try to delete the engines, it shows an "estimated price". i'm offline now but as i remember some engines worth around 500k. Maybe when they start to add "sell cars" to the game, we can also sell those engines we have.

PD just continue to fail us. Fix the friggin lobbies and online play please. How is this not the most important thing that needs addressing. Who cares about the colour of brake calibers.

I do find it interesting how fast PD came up with a roulette bug fix. But when it comes to the option of selling cars, which was promised buy PD, the issue seems a lot more harder to address. HMMM...

Most important thing for Sony is to sell MTX. Very obvious.

Sadly the update may have fixed Logi wheels but for thrustmaster there's now an animation glitch in cockpit view where the wheel will momentarily get stuck in place then randomly move rotation in an instant. Not game breaking but a bit of an eyesore

We had the roulette glitch longer than many expected, plenty of time to take advantage of it, and they didin’t take anything away from the gains, plenty of other devs would,

Come on, getting a joke this, how long are we going too have too wait for better ffb, this no info about anything is a real downer, or are we even going too get better ffb, Beginning to doubt we will. This company's worse than alot of others I could mention that don't rank very well.

I've had loads of fun. Been enjoying the lovely weather whilst the script won me over 120m, over 110 new cars to my collection, over a hundred S parts and enough engines to supply a city.
