And people say to friends, they are playing a car race simulator.....😂😂😂
It isn't even a racing simulator:

:D

It's a game, making money on it is ultimately only a concern for each individual and not something up for the judgment of others.

Say, in your view, how should a player with "skills" earn 100 millions in this game so they can buy a bunch of legendary cars without cheesing it?
@VolusiaF30 is here just to just troll and bait people into meaningless conversations. I recommend ignoring this person.

Sadly the update may have fixed Logi wheels but for thrustmaster there's now an animation glitch in cockpit view where the wheel will momentarily get stuck in place then randomly move rotation in an instant. Not game breaking but a bit of an eyesore
I had this in a beetle with DD pro and it turned out to be the right height was set too low. I know it sounds a bit bonkers but just try raising the front a little and see if it makes a difference. It did for me, much to my relief cause I was convinced my wheel was broken before that resolution...

I might have a few spare engines to last the next 10 years...

This is something I like to see. Don't play by PD's rules, make your own fun and take advantage of every glitch/exploit they put in every update.

The hardcores will call that "cheating", I call it effort. What a beautiful sight that image. 👌

Now they need to reconsider making engines purchasable. As someone who could't play the game during the glitch, lost all the motivation to play this game knowing that sure there is an engine I will never have. The community is now split, not everyone can have this little fun this game could offer.
Someone buying this today would have missed out on PD giving out a million dollar gift due to the server outage. They gave out every invite that lasted a month due to a bug. They patched out the Tomahawk tune used to grind millions and now the infinite roulette bug used to get engines you will never get normally.

Without all that, the economy is still garbage with them barely adding any ways to earn credits since launch. All the outrage and their apology was months ago and what have they done since? We still can’t sell cars, they trickle out events, and cars even cost more over time with the stupid Hagerty deal.

I sit at 76 million so i don’t need to grind, doing some wtc700 one per day to collect the daily roulettes, managed to get a 6 star ticket with [parts] i will save up until i have 30 tickets, i would be happy of i could pull another 6 star ticket with parts but find that unlikely in 13 days

You're right. I looked on the replay and the front tyres were rubbing on the wheel arch. Raised the ride height a bit and the glitch went away

You know it's a driving game right?!?
Lol exactly this.
The type to run scripts on that exploit are exactly the type to buy every car in the game then complain that there's nothing to do on it. Can't please some people.

I think this sheds light on what may have been PD’s initial plan for these parts. Loot boxes. Perhaps MTX wasn’t originally planned for only credits. It is very possible that they were going to have MTX allowing players to purchase batches of tickets. How else can we explain the abysmal drop rate of rare parts?

No one playing this game, at a rate of 1 ticket a day, has any chance of getting all the rare parts nor a good chance to get all invitation cars. The odds are stacked against us, the players who paid full price for this AAA game.

I don’t feel bad at all about abusing this glitch.
Your theory is slightly DOA already, loot boxes were made illegal in most parts of the world 3 or so years ago now.

That's a lot of engines! I thought we could only have up to 1,000 parts?
1000 separate parts, the same parts just add up on themselves (if they are for the same car for example) and don't count towards the 1,000 part tally.

This is something I like to see. Don't play by PD's rules, make your own fun and take advantage of every glitch/exploit they put in every update.

Exactly this, to be fair, i've owned the game since day one and never had an engine or rare part from any tickets until this "glitch" came along and I was playing almost every day.
So for them to be that rare is plain stupidity and I have zero remorse for letting a script grind it for me so I can now enjoy everything in the game for what the game was made for (Driving simulator) without any further sacrifice

Game just went offline. I squeezed in a couple of tickets in the final 10 minutes, and ended up with 2 unused tickets just as the servers went down. Will be interesting to see if those two tickets are still there when the game comes back up.
They took my tickets away.

Just wish I could have had an opportunity to use the glitch, I’m just not far enough into the cafe to do it. I think got through 14 chapters in cafe before this got patched.
Same for me. Luckily, I had circuit experience credits saved to buy an F40. I used those credits to buy my way through the menu books when possible. I recouped it all through four star tickets and endless swaps.

NOW I can relax and really enjoy the game. No more grinding.

Permanent engine wear cannot be restored through GT Auto.
You're looking at an absolutely tiny amount of wear though. I put 20,000 miles on the Tomahawk (the road version for pan am glitch) and only lost 9HP over stock. Maybe it's more if you don't change the oil before it gets to "normal", but as long as you stay on top of changing the oil and overhauling the engine just before/after it leaves "excellent" it really isn't an issue. So they lose roughly 0.5% of their total output every 9-12k miles. You'd need to put at least 50-60k on a car before you'd even notice a performance difference, it's that minute. The car I've actually driven the most (not a script) has 2k miles on it on 3mo... We may need to replace the engine of heavily driven cars one time in the entire lifecycle of GT7, assuming the game ever receives enough content that people even get to that point in the first place

That's a lot of engines! I thought we could only have up to 1,000 parts?
It's actually more than that. There's 1000 slots. 16 are for engines. They rest are organized by car.

So, for example, if you win 5 parts for the Nismo Skyline, it's all sorted under the 1 car and only takes up 1 slot.

So as it stands now what is the best grind combination (car and track) to earn the most credits in the least amount of time?
Alpine A220 at Tokyo, 787b at Sardegna (or most Group C cars, F1 GTR, CLK-LM, the 750Hybrid VGT Gr. 1 is relatively quick... just run what you want as the delta between the fastest and slowest is like 90 seconds for Gr.1-Gr.3, 120sec for road cars) and whatever you feel like driving at Sarthe (seriously, ANYTHING above like 500pp stock can win that race. I came in second one time, but that was due to not watching the weather radar when there was blue on the map) Ie: aside from the glitch allowing the A220 into Tokyo, there is no free lunch at the moment, well, unless you want to run the pan-am script.

So essentially the same old races we've been running for 3mo. Thank god I've finally got the credits to finish the LCD cars as I just can't do these races anymore.

Sport was the same way. I don't see the issue with it.
When the server goes down the game is gone forever, that's my issue with it. I still play the first 6 games fairly regularly but that won't be the case for GT7 6-8 years from now. Though unless they bring in a massive amount of content there's not really anything here I'd ever go back to anyway, so yeah, maybe it doesn't matter, lol
