Thanks for the close & clean race at the end @Kgffy. I'm still learning how to maintain my concentration when someone starts closing the gap & gets close behind me. Usually when no one is close my laps but are pretty consistent but when someone is in my mirror I start making mistakes. :nervous:

Thanks @WanganGhost & @Ebojager for the extra room you gave me when I was trying to pass you.
No worries man. I know I'm not really fast anyway. Trouble is I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Oh well. Can't wait for spa.

Hi everyone. I came along this post and am looking for a good group of racers to run with. I have been away from GT6 for a bit but would like to get into racing consistently. I'd like to join in next week's race, just need to know how to get started. PSN ID: BNC610 / Car: TBD / Number: 23 (if available)

February Calender Update!!

After watching today's Continental Tire Series race at Daytona, and since our specs somewhat mimic the GS class specs, I thought... Hey, we should do that!
Since we also mirror the GT4 European Championship (sort of), I decided to take tracks that were on both of those calenders and splice them together. Which means I should've saved Spa or the Nurburgring GP course for next month, because both of those are on the GT4 calender for 2015...

But without further ado, here is what I have!

Feb. 5 - Daytona Road Course (CTSS)
Feb. 12 - Laguna Seca (CTSS)
Feb. 19 - Red Bull Ring (GT4)
Feb. 26 - ??? Out of tracks. Maybe one of the Nurburgring Nordschelife layouts???

Let me know on that last one. If we do go with that, it will be one with the start on the GP course, because the start of the race would be easier to navigate than the Nordschelife.

Welcome! The most important thing you need to do is join the Gentlemen's Cup group in the community section of the game, because we run in those lobbies. The club number is in the OP of this thread. Other than that, pick a car that you feel good with and race!

Well at least you put Laguna Seca on while I'll be out of town in Wyoming. As for the final round maybe a shift to the non real courses. Ascari would be interesting with these cars. Deep Forest would be cool, but could lead to a lot of incidents.

But Motegi might be the track to run. The full course will show all the cars in our lineup advantages and disadvantages. I feel that is the track to run :-)

Decided to screw around with an online photo editor... Created a banner for BRWannab'E' Datsun Racing. If you'd like one for your team, shoot me a PM with your idea and I'll get it done for you free of charge :) Maybe we'll be able to incorporate these with the teams post if we follow through with teams?

I like the idea! Maybe just a slightly smaller version, though.

Actually... The Autumn Ring allows weather and time changes, so... How about that?

I conducted myself one hour training sessions and I managed to go down to 2:22,6xx, average times were about 2:23.5

what was your speed at the end of the straight-away after eau rouge i was hittin near 165mph but i have to slow to a relative crawl for the right left right there. I could also probably tune out a few tenths as I basically ran the silverstone setup i had

also @Rob Ledwell i normally run in a club lobby and open it up for other people to run if they want to, you can pull the regs off of the events page in the club on Gt6, but make sure you run with Normal Tire Wear, Real Slipstream, Real off track surfaces, No boost and heavy damage (you can run with visible damage on, but you might get some lag.)
I would recommend running for race distance (1hour) but you can probably get away with a few 20-30 min runs

I was hittin about 159 mph before breaking

Oyeah I'm watching, I like going for under dogs, why can't they get that Mazda diesel after 3 years of development more reliable and competive lap times
