It is with great sadness that I have to inform you guys that I am pulling out of the GTGC (for now) Just got too much stuff on my plate to run competitvely and have fun on thursdays. I am not leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth, as this is a pretty kick ass league with a bunch of pretty kick ass people. I apologise in advance for the team championship title @Kgffy, keep WestCoast Mazda running strong! Have fun guys, I'll be back!
:gtpflag:

:(:(:(

Sorry to hear, mate. If things open up for you, we'll probably still be running in some form. You'll be more than welcome back.

thanks KG yes it I would have like that. it was kinda lonely just controlling the gap. I felt kinda like lewis Hamilton when he has a lead. not saying I'm that good. looks like Draq would have been there too if he did not have such a bad start. want to say thanks to Rizo for being so kind.

:banghead: bitter sweat because I could not make the sprint race and knew I had the pace finally. not upset however I do wish if you make it before the end of quali you could start from pit lane kinda.

what I really love about this series is guys race hard and at times there is contact but for the most part it never ends up with damage. Flip and Rizo and I always seem to race hard and maybe have contact but to me no harm no foul. I've been in series where if you even tried to make a pass with no contact just close racing they would have a problem with it.

this series is awesome and hope we get a 16 member field in the near future!!

Plus 80 kg for winning buddy ;-)

it says plus 60 in the drivers standing and i would rather go with that!!:dopey: civic handles like a pig and finally got it set up so its decent. hope the 80kg does not bring it back to the way it was. ascari will not be easy with this t!!:nervous:

80kg is a lot of weight put onto a car. I actually had a blast with it last night knowing full well I would not be able to keep race pace with it. Had a ton of great battles during the qualifier and the main race. :-)

Oh sorry, that was a typo. It is 80. I'll have that fixed in a bit.

This league looks very good but starting to race at midnight on a Thursday sadly doesn't work for me.
If schedule ever changes please notify me.

I don't remember that place, I remember one on Ulmerton called 688 Skate or something.
That was back in 2002 I believe, I have heard from travelling businessmen that come into my bar that those skateparks have closed down since I left Florida. If I'm ever done I'll definitely meet up for a beer; don't have to tell this snotty bartender twice about grabbing one of those ;-)

I'm 41, in my skating days we didn't have any of those fancy parks, although Mad Beach Surf Shop brought in a big ramp for a Tony Hawk appearance, circa '91.
