And practice, I think I managed a 57.1 in a race while trying to chase down the leader, but I'm pretty terrible and I would say that if you where skilled getting low 56's would be easily achievable with a pad

57.1 and you say you're terrible? I have never seen anyone under 57 in the many races I did there. I even don't think I have seen a best lap in the 57!

In my second and third race online I got pole, fastest lap and the win... since then however I've not managed to be any of those things hahaha...

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I've seen faster laps than that

My guess is that you got the figures wrong lol.

It took sometime for me as well but what I did to get gold was switching between traction control on and of as well as try to corner and hit apex better to allow faster exits and also try not to slow down too much on while approaching some corners.

I was the same. I found braking earlier and hitting the apex's to be the key. If anything i was trying to go too fast around corners, making me go too deep into corners and off the fastest line. Once I hooked up a lap, I magcally did it 3 seconds faster than 1:52.

The series of bends after the hairpin about halfway around is where you need to hit the apex as it's quite a long straight so a slow exit from the corner hurts more.

Does anyone know the best lap that was done with a DS4 pad with the Civic on Brands Hatch? My absolute best was 57.365 (never managed to do it again haha), but I had in mind the best overall was around 56. something. I wonder what was the best with a gamepad?
For future championships, it would be fair to have sorta of a distinction, because clearly a gamepad is around a second disadvantage. To achieve perfect laps with a DS4 with the Civic on brands Hatch, it requires great abilities and the concentration of Doctor Strange.

I know someone who has done a 56.8 using a controller, and based on how quick a driver they are mid 56s should be doable with a controller, which would make the controller at most a tenth or two slower. Essentially the difference between a controller and wheel is negligible in GTS.

Thanks mates, i'll give it a try tonight. My impression is that I lose a lot of speed at the tigh corner after the downhill and the last one right before the goal (TCS just slows down the car a lot).
The S turn at the beginnig is a pain too.

Is the last gold, is quite painful to see 99% gold and this last one silver

Gift cars (pink dot) can be deleted from your garage if you hit the sell button. DLC cars however can not be sold/deleted. But I expect that to change in the future, seems like a weird design choice to not be able to get rid of a car.

So what are the best performing Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars for today's dailys? I have a million credits to spend! Usually one or two cars tend to be top of the leaderboards for each individual race.

Theorically, as far as I know, for Gr.3 the best to use in general is the BMW M6 as it has a slight advantage over the other cars which probably will be BoPped in a future patch, prior to the first official championship (don't think they will do for this test season on November, they have to work first to fix bugs). For Gr.4 I don't know.
On this thought, how do you guys think is the 4C in those 2 categories in a competition way? I have to decide which manufacturer to sign. There is my childhood love in the Subaru WRX, although is not the same anymore, and the evergreen passion for Ferrari. But man, that 4C is soooo good to look and so sexy. I have seen with my own eyes a road one, and I think I liked it more that actual DRIVING a 458 Italia on Maranello (smartbox gift).

Sorry I actually meant, if we buy the crappy cars first, can we still receive them as gifts or do they disappear from the "pool" of available cars?

The 4C BoP's very well. Without BoP its too slow. Handles far better than the Aston GT3, the only back to back comparison I've made. Which highlighted a good fact about the game, it simulates weight pretty well between cars, the Aston felt much larger when driving, was impressed.

I seem to qualify in the top 4-5 fairly often, unless it doesn't register my quali time, but I've not won the last few races, just collecting what would be podiums... but my DR doesn't seem to be increasing all that much

So, some people here, are mentioning they don't have to buy cars. Could PD be trialing a CR. as an option? If I've read correctly, cars are only available to rent in some races and garage cars only in others.

I’ve only been playing against fellow Europeans so far, not seen any Americans or Asians in the races I’ve done today.

So after 100% completing the Campaign, I've been spending my time grinding credits. Been doing a mix of the AFK method and actually racing endurance races. My plan is to get to 20mil credits before I start buying cars. No point in buying them now as the game gives you so many for free.
Are their any better ways of getting credits other than the AFK method?

I noticed the Alfa Romeo Mito can not have the mirrors, bonnet painted individually. Although cars like the Porsche gt3 rs can plus the wing.

They are the only two cars I've messed with in livery editor.

Just yesterday after messing about creating and tweaking and re sharing multiple liveries for the Porsche I couldn't install any wheels in the car.

Then later in the evening I could eventually so I don't know if this was a server issue thing. And I can't remember if the game got shut down and switched back on again later.

One other thing I can't seem to work out is how to delete garage shots.

One other thing also if I may. Why can we only take basic photos in the garage screen. Like when we view our cars in our garage it would be nice to have the photo or camera controls when we view our cars close up and not just in scapes mode.
