I don't get the complains about the graphics at all. There's a crapton of stuff to complain about, especially the absolutely ridiculously, horrible and unacceptable bad sound, but the visuals are amazing, especially for a 60 fps title with 20+ cars at once and VR support.
To me the sounds seemed definitly improved - atleast those what i could make out of the stream!

They were improved as in they used new samples for some of the cars like the BMW, but they're still bad. The tire squeal, the lack of any backfire effects, the thin high rev droning... it all sounds like a game from 2004.

People like to complain about it in the forums, but PD should get much more flack for this. I don't get why they're not simply using FMOD or Wwise for their audio and use their real life samples, which they always brag about and call it a day. Hell, give me the samples and let me do it in FMOD, I would do it for free and it would sound better than what we have now.

I actually like the new engine sounds (I heard a new turbo flutter on the Lancer Evolution X Final Edition touring car and the sound of the Vette is just gorgeous) but the evil and horrible tire sounds from GT6 are back.

To be honest, I want the game to run at 60fps as much as the next guy but if early reports are to be believed that the framerate is not stable - and it ships as such - I'm not thrilled in the slightest. GT needs a stable frame-rate in my opinion, especially if its wanting to be considered as a legit eSport.
Yes, for FIA's sake it has to be 60fps (and for my sake too :P ). I believe with the current PS4 we can say good bye to FIA rain events. Current hardware is just too weak for all eye candy.

Why you are trying to judge graphics off a compressed video from a live stream just baffles me. Also, DC runs at 30 frames per second with only 12 cars on track.

GT sport 60 fps. it doesn't look PS4 game. Do you believe only frame rate problem for me? or You?

It doesn't seem English is your first language. Again, I'll restate what I said earlier: you are trying to judge graphics off of a compressed live stream. It's going to make the graphics look worse. However, from what I have seen even from the live stream, I can't even come to think how people could say this looks like a PS3 or even a PS2 game.

The best part is that they all had the correct cylinder count. To me that's more important to start with than sound detail because there was nothing more annoying than driving a v12 car in GT6 that sounded like a v8 (etc...).

Yeah english is not my main language, congratulations.
you have to focus other improved things except Frame Rate. You won't find anything improved Thing. Good Luck with GT sport spinn of game.

I think that people see this as a result of 3 to 4 years development and quite rightly say it's nit enough and it's disappointing that the glaring issues in GT 6 haven't been addressed.

on top of a 70% reduction in cars, plus a reduction in track count.

To get an idea of the graphics outside of a stream:

As I thought, the stream slaughtered the quality. Try calling that a PS3 game.

I think it looks on par with other 60 fps sim racers of this generation. The reality is these consoles are very straight forward to program for and every developer is on equal footing, whereas on PS3 PD had a leg up on everyone because nobody else had the time/budget to tame the CELL processor fully. This time around everyone is on even ground and I personally can't see major visual disparity between GTS, FM6, PC, AC and others. What is a major differentiator is everything else in the game - the content, the physics, the sounds, the UI, etc.

Could you identify where and when?

In the background of at track sides with many trees close together I'm noticing a few trees still rotating. Having all 3D trees would really bring down the frame rate with a track like the Nurburgring.
If you watch them pass buy on the left and right in the Nurburgring video, that's where I think I'm seeing it.
