Nothing much new in this trailer, but a couple of observations:

1) Music much better. Thanks for saving my ears this time PD. Also good to see they haven't forgotten MOTC ;)

2) We get more glimpse of roadcars at 1:20. There's a shot of them going through Tokyo tunnels. I can't really see any new models revealed, but it should calm the people who says GTS has too much emphasis on race cars.

3) Scapes filters are fantastic  Vibrant filter is practically real life  There seems to be less selection than in GT5/6, but most filters in those games look tacky anyway and I never use them so it's ok.

4) Trees at Nurb look fantastic. Also loving the billboards at Willow's Turn 2. PD's tracks have always been characterised as bland so it's good to see they are increasing the "festive" atmosphere.

5) Damage still looks non-existent and pinball physics during crashes 👎

6) Just noticed, when selecting car colours there aren't any colour names shown. Perhaps they've done away with the awful paint chips system altogether? Would make much more sense now that we have a livery editor 💡

7) Anyone can race, everyone can win. More like everyone can race, but only 1 can win

It's a pretty underwhelming trailer for E3 if this is all they've got. But with GTS being such a focused game with much less content this is probably all they've got to show. I'm just hoping the full car list, track list and scapes list will be revealed soon.

After my doubts, I think I might just enjoy GTS for what it is. GT5 Prologue, despite being much smaller in scope than GT5/6 ended up being my favourite GT experience on the PS3. I'll take quality > quantity any day.

Belongs to London event...

Man, the hype really brainwashed done people back then.
To be fair though, GT4 was coming off massive success (just noting, I wasn't part of the build up and hype for GT5, I wasn't around here back then), and for GT5, if what I read is to be believed, Polyphony did all the right things to build up hype beforehand (except the standard cars trailer, I mean that must be the first time a video game company has released a trailer for old assets in a new game).
Also, congratulations on 8,900 posts :gtpflag:

I'm aware of that. Still sticks out like a sore thumb in that trailer.

In any case, I'm not hoping for much to change in just a few weeks (or even until release), so at least I can't get disappointed.

GTS will destroy other racing games!
Highly doubt it, but I also doubt that it will get destroyed by other racing sims. For the past couple of years, there hasn't really been a sim that dominated all of the others, with each of the current sims offering something unique to table while having its own shortcomings.

Gran Turismo 3 will retroactively destroy Gran Turismo Sport.

Gran Turismo 3 has, Apricot Hill Raceway, Grand Valley Speedway, Deep Forest Raceway, Midfield Raceway, Super Speedway, Test Course, Trial Mountain, Complex String, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Smokey Mountain, Swiss Alps, Tahiti Circuit. Tahiti Maze. City circuits, Côte d'Azur, Rome Circuit, Seattle Circuit, Special Stage Route 5, Special Stage Route 11, Tokyo R246. Gran Turismo 3 has 150 cars, compared to 140 in Gran Turismo Sport. It has music from Jimi Hindrex, Judas Priest, Lenny Kravitz, Snoop Dog, Motley Crue, and Goldfinger!

Thanks to all that suggest the car was an Evo.

Can't say I recall another car with different livery yet.
So it still seems odd.
But certainly possible.

Evening gents.
Exciting times with a new trailer. :)

I happened to pause the clip and got a good look at the front of the Mustang Gr 3.
Looks sweet.

But just after that this car caught my eye trailing the pack.
I've no idea what I'm looking at but I'm sure you guys will set me straight.
To me it looks all white with red front guards and red rear wing end plates.

BTW, the colours perfectly match the i20 Rally Car

Don't forget heat haze , something that's never been seen again in GT.

A lot of people here and on neogaf are judging this trailer by that spectator mode at the second part of the trailer. That footage is not new, it's the same footage from the London event. That's why at that part things haven't changed.

I'm starting to think that's the only footage they have lying around the office. I'd rather see Matchboxes rolling around on a kid's floor than see that same footage in another trailer again.
