As a photographer I can easily say they won't be because you can't move the camera around in the scape. It's essentially on a fixed axis basically meaning all we can do is move the camera up and down or move the lens left and right but can't actually move the cameras position. This'll lead to photos that basically look like they were positioned by someone who just wanted to quickly snap a photo of a car on the street or, in this case, very basic photos used in press releases for cars. No doubt the scapes are beautiful but without the creative freedom and variety I don't see it clicking well with the photo community present in GT

It appears to me the biggest lock is in your own mindset here. More so since we only got limited informations on the feature and no hands on experience in the first place. Photography (be it on location) is all about overcoming potential (and more often than not likely) shortcomings and maximizing what is realistically available. That’s what creativity stands for in the first place, IMHO. No, we will not get full freedom of movement out of the Scapes mechanism; but sure there is seemingly a substantial tool on offering here. The ability to select aspect ratio, rotate, pan and tilt already opens a handful of options. It wouldn’t come as surprise if some of the playgrounds where 360° locations either. From the very few ones (out of the 1000+) that have been teased so far, you can tell some places will offer pseudo multiplane camera effects too, with some assets (other than cars) being 3D modeled into the scenery. Last but not least, there is the mouthwatering hint that one could add light sources into the builds... sure that could end up being a photographer’s hobby, isn’t it?

Looks like tire deformation on the first gif...though I don't know if these are real in game shots (which I'm sure someone will clarify for me) so I wont read too much into it yet.
Yep,there is,at least in this trailer.

@super_gt
I tried to check that out but did nowhere near as good a job as you.

This footage of the Audi losing the back end and running square over the kerb also looks interesting.
Appropriate commentary, so live game play maybe?
(I don't know why the drivers names aren't present as per other races though.)

See what you think.

Looks like opposite ends of the track to me.

Yes it is and looks like one garage building is missing in the E3 build.

No it's definitely the same end, look at the clouds the skybox is still the same direction, the start/finish and pits also still the same side. The stand is different shape at the other end in older build, this end is still the same shape but with hospitality boxes added and ad boards removed.

The thing that's throwing you guys off i that the first pic is taken from near the edge of the track, the second from near the center.

Yeah, you're right I can see it now. So they are still improving tracks and add more people.

The player names aren't in that part of the video due to it being the footage from the Manufacturers cup :)!

I was pushing to hard in the Mclaren haha! Was hard to get under control, and then ran out of race track :D!

I am a man. So is James May previously of BBC Top Gear. I never understood his strange words talking about certain cars giving him a Fizz in his nonexistent female parts.
Well, now I understand. Watching a 20 car grid in GT gives me the Fizz.

That was weired, but i like it!!:lol::lol::lol:

Ah, of course.
Cheers.

Yeh, spotted your cameo on the trailer.
Congrats.

Have you posted your impressions of the physics anywhere yet? I would love to see what your first thoughts on the game are.:)

For me this looks as tire sank into the curb.
