Career mode is is good when you can't decide what you want in life. The producers of the game hold the hand and guide the player through a series of tracks to race on. The player is happy they have no choice what track is next and makes there life a little simpler.

Where as normal people when racing against AI, easley managed to pick a car and a track of choice and then race. So they demonstrate maturity by not needing to be mother'ed thru the game like a young child.

Hearing grown men complain they miss the guidance of a mother like attitude to the game is super amusing.

You're going to need to find a new way of discussing things: veiled insults at others for not sharing your opinion on matters is not acceptable.

Nothing wrong with wanting career mode, just stating why people want a career mode.
You do NOT speak for anyone other than yourself. Don't tell me why I want career mode.

Really? Is English not your native language? What makes you think you can insult people like this?

If only it were insulting, but that's the most stupid nonsense I've ever read.

In that sense I find it insulting...and amusing . That argument about a carreer mode mixed with faux psychology is pure gold. Yeah, sure Mr. P, I have mommy issues and no direction in life because I want a carreer mode in a game, you must be Freud's :censored:ing long-lost descendant!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

At this point, it should be crystal clear that Palestinian is a veritable bridge inhabitant.

@Samus there is a lot more successful business men then there are champion racing drivers. And racing drivers after they are yesterday's new and end up getting the boot.... Then there ****ed. on the other side a rich dude can fund his racing for as long as he is making money. So the latter is sorted in life and he is sorted on track (Can race as long as he desires without having to relying on others).

Most racing drivers are broke and at the end of the year are squirming for a drive the following year. They are what you call disposal.... Look what happened to kyvat. Or this weekends race regarding a Mercedes crash... Both Hamilton and rosberg got to listen to team order.

Better to be the second. Be the boss not the slave.

@Moderator what you on about? if you don't like my comments then maybe you ought to evaluate your perception.

I wonder if cars getting dirty and the dirt sticking onto the car until you wash it is gonna be a thing.

Imagine a prompt telling you before you enter a race, "Your car's appearance leaves much to be desired. Head to GTAuto for a wash!"

First of all, Mr. @Palestinian, I r8 your b8 with 8 since you made me reply, bravo.

Yeah, like Tracy Krohn or Vadim "The Impaler" Kogay , men who clearly have it sorted on track. Evidently, you don't know :censored:about what you're talking.

Uhhh, no. Hegel says otherwise. Now, who would I rather believe, a random internet troll or one of the most important philosophers in history? (Master/slave dialectics, you ignorant so-and-so...)

I really hope what I'm gonna say doesn't count as a violation to the AUP, but I'd like you to keep going. Not only I find it very amusing when ignorant people use big words like "perception", but I'm eager to see you getting "das boot" :gtpflag:.

That could be like an insult to the Gr.B rally cars, couldn't it??:lol:

Anyway, to keep this thread happy, I was watching recent Slap train's video, and I felt the personallity of a certain game in his gameplay :dopey:

@CarBastard dont know what ur on about. Your not making sense. Listen to whatever great philosopher you want.

I don't listen to any philosopher. Btw stop swearing in reference to me and

Let get back on topic of discussing GT AND RACING. :gtpflag:

My point was its better to be financially in charge of your own racing then being at the mercy of a race team.

Random thought for the day.

If Ford's VGT ends up being like this ...

... I wonder how PD will handle it. :D
Those inboard shocks interest me the most.

Here's today's random thought. :)

Now I know I'm reading too much into this, but it is somewhat interesting that the latest post on the GT website about Pikes Peak has been put into the 'GT Sport News' category.

Why not 'Recent news'?
Or for that matter the Pitstop blog, as it isn't really GT news at all, it's just 'Kaz' news.

Probably a simple admin. error, or is it?

Oddly enough, the article isn't even available on the US site.

Ooh, apologies.
That's my bad for not adding a link.
http://www.gran-turismo.com/au/

But yes, that's a little odd.
I doubt it's far away.

I've noticed it's been posted up on the Japanese site for quite a few days already which I imagine is the reason it's back dated to 28th June.

But back to the post.
There's nothing in it about GT sponsoring the event.
There's no images advertising GT in the post, not even a start line banner photo.
Just talk of Pikes Peak in general, and a bit of emphasis on the latest NSX Kaz. drove.

This is Pcars team right ? I think @Zakspeed_TV is here and he has tuning garage on Pcars :)
Zakspeed's Garage

@Zakspeed_TV is a monster on the track. I've watched many of his videos and can't honestly say how he gets his laptimes when he doesn't appear to be doing anything differently and is driving so smoothly:lol:. Congratulations to him, well deserved. 👍👍

embarrassing indeed 👎 They need to quickly clean up their act. Quality of racing during the Copperbox event was even better. Funny to see how professional racers don't seem to be taking this e-Sport serious at all.

Thank you for the kind words Johnny, means a lot man 👍👍

And yes the Formula E guys should take it more serious, poor show by them. Daniel Abt is ok tho

So I've been a little bored and checking out some old news.
And it seems I need to eat some humble pie.

Apparently the Bugatti VGT is quite trim on the inside afterall.

"Just as in the exterior design, no concessions were made in the design of the car’s interior. “This is an uncompromising race car,” emphasized Etienne Salome, the head of Interior Design at Bugatti. The interior is designed to meet racing requirements. All indicators, displays and controls are located where a race-car driver expects them – easy to read and easy to reach."
