The point is - You've got your first press info about GTS and when you wanna know more about GTS before the next press info comes out you are able to ask PDI directly.

Ok thanks for the tip, I'm just going to ask them on Facebook everything about the game, I'll be back in an hour with a detailed breakdown of each game mode, the full car and track list, the new previously unannounced features, the online modes, how the FIA championship will specifically work and a specific release date. I'll also have some new screenshots and a short video.

Oh so I wasn't going off on a tangent it seems?
Nope, still a tangent :D

The first trailer was released at E3, accompanied by lots of information as well(Which was in June by the way, and the game releasing a couple of months after that.) So, how is that similar?
Not very, but it couldn't really be called a teaser trailer.

Although, a new car being on a new game is to be expected, as well as what the release date is as well.
Yes, that probably has something to do with the timing, which probably does affect my argument :D Though I also seem to recall the GTS initial announcement being wanted at PGW, which also might have affected its timing.

hmmmm i wonder why (cough GTS cough)

I imagine it's just my brain trying to convince me this must be GT Sport related because it's starved of new racing game news, but I can't see DiRT Rally or Assetto Corsa needing some "wink wink nudge nudge" teasing on Twitter as they're both known quantities, if you will. Both have already been released on PC (and are both stunningly good, go and buy them now if you want something to play between now and GTS), whereas GT Sport is almost the elephant in the racing game room at this point, and so would be more worthy of a teaser.

Err, you know when your brain is starved of oxygen and you start to feel lightheaded and delirious? I think a similar issue can be observed amongst GT fans when news is slim. It must be what I'm suffering from now...

So instead of beating around the bush again, why not explain how? It goes exactly along with your point, and if not, please tell me the point you where trying to make.

Not very what? It was the very first trailer released, and ever since it was they continued to give us updates leading all the way up to the release of the game. Still, what you are saying is that they go about the situation in a similar manner, when it wasn't. I was never stating that they don't release trailers, I was stating that they don't release trailers with little information and then leave there game to sit and collect dust for months, all the while not giving information on it. It is not the same situation.

I'm not sure what you're meaning with this.

Ok guys, it doesnt lead to anything. Lets just say its a matter of opinions. So let us end that useless discussion because i wont change my point of view and you wont either.

XDDD i feel the same way but at the same time i know we get info soon. at this point they should say something by the end of this month or early April. i really want know how many wheel's will be support at launch

At least at my iphone that sentence appears, dont know how to post a screenshot over the phone.

But ok, lets put this to rest as the big majority is happy with it how it is.

That's very odd, since that's what I'm on too. You're not using the old app, are you? :P

Handy tip: to screenshot on an iPhone, just tap the Lock button and Home button simultaneously. 👍

What is driving me crazy is that almost one year ago (june 2015), when a journalist asked them about a 2017 release, they laughed like dummies ! At this time, I was still believing in a release for the end of 2015 or beginning of 2016. But right now, we can conclude that if we are lucky we'll have a beta around the middle of the year and the final game for the end of the year 2016. So why laughing like this if the game is finally released so nearly of the year 2017 !!

(and I'm not even talking about the fact that this game will only be a "prologue" :grumpy:)

I think the problem is that you were expecting an unannounced Gran Turismo title to be released in almost no time at all.

Not sure why this is surprising.

https://www.gtplanet.net/kazunori-yamauchis-best-interview-ever/

Kazunori laughed at the notion of a 2010 release date for Gran Turismo 5, and said it will be released sooner than expected.

Yes, I think we're talking at cross-purposes here, it's probably safe to say we're not going to agree :D
I'm not really bothered that we don't agree, more so that your assumption is wrong.

I'd like you to go back and look at your initial post.
Why not? As I've said before, the main announcement of Forza 6 was 5 months after the initial trailer.
There are plenty of things wrong here. The main announcement of Forza was 5 months after Forza is announced through trailer? Totally ignoring that, I'd like you to go and actually see when the trailer was released, and then check the release date of the game. They basically announced the next Forza, after the support for the previous one subsided. Following the initial trailer at E3(which happened to be the first trailer) they continued to give multiple updates weekly as to what was going to be featured in their next big game, up until the release that was months later.

That is the kind of information we come to expect in this day and age. This is why it is not a similar situation as to what's going on with GTS.

So ok... what everyone expects in terms of engine sound ? That's the one thing I can't wait to see/hear.

Would be hilarious if all cars sounded like the red bull junior with PD saying "sounds are placeholders"

Only half joking there :scared:
So far, the VGT sounds are awesome for me, and some of the changed sounds are awesome, I must recognized the Forza guy did a good job.

Don't go giving them ideas...

That being said, with Mike Caviezel of Forza Motorsport fame on board, and this AES system that reared its head towards the end of GT6's life seemed to produce some effective results. Since the car list is smaller this time around, hopefully Polyphony haven't overstretched themselves in getting each car right (which might explain the sounds being reused frequently and incorrectly in GT6). I'm quietly and cautiously confident, though.

Asked them few days ago, when they answered my question they used "Sad Face" emoticon :P

Just to change tack a little, the official Gran Turismo website posted an article about the Alpine Vision Concept, talking about its release, how much of a fan of Alpine Kaz is, and the partnership they had created through the design of the Vision GT. I just think that kind of officially enshrines the relationship with Alpine everyone speculated about when Kaz appeared at the unveiling.

Article here: http://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/news/00_5236183.html

It's the only car they seem to have posted about as well, so...

Alpine Vision (or production version) for GT Sport cover?
That's actually a likely possibility because motorsport did start in France along with the FIA. Which also gives another reason for the Chiron to potentially be on the cover.

Lol, ok

But there was still no information for 5 months after the initial trailer.

I see you still have no idea when the trailer came out, nor do you know when the game came out within that time. Otherwise you'd know not only that it's so far off the truth, but the timeframe you laid out doesn't even make sense.

Like I said, there was practically new information weekly after the trailer released. If there wasn't for some period, it was definitely a good amount of info per month.

If the 53 second Ford GT promotional video with a Forza 6 logo at the end counts as the Forza 6 announcement trailer and not the extensive gameplay footage shown at E3 that they always said was going to be at E3, what was the actual announcement trailer for GT Sport?

The two 3 minute long Vision GT movies with a bunch of race footage from a game that was obviously not GT6 and interspersed with mini interviews with Kaz and car designers as they pertained to the next GT game that was also obviously not GT6 that Sony released in September?

Surely i know how to take a screenshot, i just cant work out how to put it here over my iphone. It happens when you open GTPlanet via the facebook app, then you have a bar on the top where the website name is displayed.

Would the screenshot not just be saved to your Photo Album/Gallery (whatever the iOS equivalent is called), and you would then simply attach the image to your post here using "Upload a File"?
