seriously release one nascar model and people will go nuts with the livery editor and breathe a whole new life back into the game (especially if they add Daytona or Talladega).
TBH all they should add at all (whether in GTS or the next game) is one of each year's NASCAR models from the prior games, plus maybe one that's new to the series. So instead of having every single sponsor/driver, it'd be like three cars per season - Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota. Anything much more seems superfluous. But I'd personally add Jeff Gordon's car from GT5, since he had the Driving School segment there. (Similarly, I'd add Loeb's Citroen C4 WRC, and the Sebastian Vettel version of the Red Bull X2010.)

For me 930 and then porsche 550 and the game is complete. I mean having 550 in the opening clip already makes me very happy to see it imagine how crazy would it be having it in game. Love these updates. Mx5 TC Fuji anyone?
For me the 959, 911 Turbo (993), Carrera GT and the brand in GT Sport it´s complete.

I think I may be the only person thrilled to see the addition of a super-premium S800

For whatever reason, 5-year-old me was fascinated by the Japanese classics such as the Skyline BLRA-3, Mazda Carol, and especially the S800 in GT4. I totally get that these types of vehicles aren’t everybody’s favourite, but I adore them.

The 930 Turbo looks great too imo. Always nice to see new cars added to the franchise.
I couldn't agree with you more. I'm most excited for the S800.

Also, I'm not joking when I say this but I literally had a dream two nights ago about the 930 in GT Sport. And now it's here! I wonder what else I'll dream of...:D

The leak overall is good news to me. Not just for the Civic EK9 Type R and Porsche 930, but for that Mazda NA Miata TC. It's nice to know that PD is going to add the GT5/6 Touring Cars back. Which makes me more eager for when they decide to add the R33 Touring Car back, that and bring back the 1997 Castrol Supra. I want to race 1997 JGTC cars dammit!

I mean I sorta find NASCAR to be a little overrated, as far as licences go. I’d love Daytona, Indy, Sonoma, and their respective variant layouts, but I think the FIA partnership has much longer legs than a NASCAR licencing. I know there’s a couple classes of NASCAR, but I don’t see much value outside of it - certainly insofar that if they never show up again in GT, I’d be sympathetic. Perhaps they could do what the new GRID game is doing and simply have a made-for-game model. The actual cars are just shells, anyway.

I think its best that i dont even expect Race Cars from now starting with the update in August because at this point its become hopeless for me to even believe PD will add any more thanks to their road car addiction

This is gonna be a good update! Any plans to add any modern supercars like the 720S, Huracan Performante, Corvette ZR1, or 488 GTB/Pista? Would they have to get a license to add Spoon cars like the ITR, CTR, and S2000?

The same thing goes for rally cars too which I expected more to come in the game, I guess.

By the way, how many updates have passed since either a Ferrari or Nissan have last debuted in one of the previous updates? I think the streak is currently more than two in a row.

Race cars are harder to get and maybe have even more expensive licensing, but I could be wrong

Four cars leaked on the PS Store could either mean a four-car pack for the next update (unusual when compared to previous updates), or a five-car pack with one car above the Cr2.000.000 Cr10.000.000 limit for real money purchases. The 10M part is just an optimistic guess, I assume.

Edit: the limit was raised to 10M in March. Scratch what I said about optimism.

If one or two 10M cr. + cars are featured, they almost certainly would be the 2012 and 2014 Pebble Beach GT award cars. The 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial Pinninfarina Coupe and or the 1954 Maserati A6GCS Spider.

For real though I'll see them add the R33 GT-R LM instead, considering that R33 TC was based on it and it's RWD as Gr.3 regulations require. (Unless they're making a separate Gr.3 version of R33 TC and putting the 4WD R33 TC to Gr.X)

Considering we only had three recent model year road cars (Alpine, DB11, and GR Supra) from updates...

Well it seems Mazda mx5 cannot be gr.4 car. Why? Take a look at the tires. If you look closely they are sport tires. Psn store pictures are always with default tires so it cant be gr.4 because all gr.4 cars default tires are racing hard. If its gr.x then again a car like this default tire would be racing tires which says this car will n class car very likely.
