Loved the race at Interlagos, restart was a bit of a bummer but good lord it was amazing to see the Pantera racing and i think it was the only circuit with a full clean race.

So tires still endlessly spin when accelerating cars... 4wd cars started like 5 times faster.

The grip with wheelspin was so wrong.
This was the same before the handling update a few months ago.

Not sure about the incident with the AMG and the Toyota there, looked like a regular race incident to me

But yeah, GTS "offline" is just like GTS "online", dirty driving makes you win

Also; double points were ditched in F1 after one try so who thought it would be smart to use it here? Basically makes the other three races worthless.

However the other 3 races were way shorter, so I think it makes sense

I'm guessing 'blue screen.'
If that's the case, then the game is clearly not ready. This issue has been going on pretty much since release.

That was awesome! Great racing throughout! Very exciting and commentary was great, felt like a real race only better because it actually had some action!

Great effort by @Tidgney, horrible cars throughout but great drives! Wouldn’t want the Lambo for the last race! @force ewerby had a good last race too.

It was 100% not blue screen, they manually disconnected everyone because they thought there was 1 car out of position on the grid. Should've restarted it sooner than they did but there was only one technical issue in the entire event and that was in a morning practice session.

Judging by the racing we have seen over the last two days the game is very much ready. Best racing I have seen with the best drivers. Congratulations to all who took part and to PD for creating such a game to make such an exciting event possible.

What's quite interesting about the N24 event is that for the majority of us going it'll be our first live tournament, and not many former GT Academy guys have made it. For the first time us racers have an entry criteria that suits us. The fact you don't even see the FIA leaderboard times after you've entered a race is a sign PD have completely focused on racing and not hotlapping.

I’ve not watched today’s races but this made me chuckle after watching yesterday’s Nurburgring 24h race!

I still think a time trial or some special qualifying event would have been better to select people to go.

I was suprised that at there was over 20 seconds différence (with a fairly equal spread) for the fastest lap at the Nurburgring 24h. I guess the new tyre model didn’t help, but I would have expected it to be much much closer (3-5 seconds?).

Congrats on your win though! I’m truley amazed how quickly you picked up using wheel!

I know of many hotlappers who are goddamn awful when it comes to racing. The reason for the large variation of times is due to limited practice, different tire model, different equipment than they are used to etc

Also, remember that in the Nurburgring 24hr circuit race, that many drivers would be stuck in traffic as well as battling for position, meanwhile others would have clean air, which certainly can make a large difference in laptime. Plus, most of the laps would be invalidated due to pitting, hence only about 3 or 4 of the laps would be full proper laps. So it isn't a large range of data to get everyone's best laps

But over 20 seconds is just too much of a gap to justify. And there should be minimal battling too as it’s mostly single file there. (it would have been even bigger if you looked at 2nd/3rd drivers times).

And without naming names, there were certainly a few drivers there who weren’t great at "racing" aswell. The commentators were lost for words a few times.

In the current system it’s not that hard for hot Lappers to get to 75k DR if they really wanted to.

Just feels to me that it could have been a much stronger and competitive field.

It s not the game issue, it's an overlay issue, the displaying software

Also, i wasn't ready to watch it, but after seeing these great races i can't wait for 1st june now

I’d like to know what Kazunori meant when he said they have learnt a lot from this tour and there are many things to improve
