Gran Turismo World Tour is happening

Because you finished ahead of me? I was only a second behind you all race but I couldn’t overtake you because my throttle was spiking.

Are you on a G29? I have the same problem :(
Quick fix is to jab the throttle a bit but it'll come back after a while and only works 50/50

But surely if I made a dirty move I would've been penalised and therefore you would've qualified? So the move must've been fine.

So what was the point in your original post?
Because your throttle was spiking and me not being quick enough for you that race is totally irrelevant to the discussion, isn't it?

Yer it’s quite irrelevant. You were just saying mthomas was slow and I was just saying he was quick.

totally irrelevant to the discussion
Agreed. This bickering about a separate event has no place in this thread (this goes to @CaptainAlan8 and anybody else involved). Neither does your antagonistic behavior towards some of the competitors.

The former can be taken to private messages. The latter can simply stop.

The throttle spiking happens a lot when there is dirt in the pedals, pet hair being one of the main sources. Sometimes you may have to unplug them in game (which you are not supposed to do) as well afterwards, to get it to recalibrate properly, as even after cleaning it was still doing it until I did this.

Even sorting my pedals out didn't make me as fast as these guys though, still need about half a second a lap to even have a chance against them. ;)

Were you at the event? Didn't see you racing. I guess it's difficult to keep up with the better drivers.

You edited this since, but if you don't think this sounds bitter, and passive aggressive then you need your head feeling. Seriously.

It was a great event to watch, and well commentated on. I loved it.

Has anybody heard off @mclarenLB ? lol. Did he fly or swim back?

Sorry! Was just enjoying winding him up!

Sorry for the misunderstanding and bickering guys. Light-hearted banter got a bit much.
See you on the track some time :)

Did you just deleted all your previous posts?!?

That kinda explains a lot!!

Now I’m very curious to meet you in a lobby and see what type of player you are!

Because the whole discussion makes me sound like the driver I'm not (partly my fault) and has lead to a complete misunderstanding from others. I now realise the first post sounded like I was bitter, but it wasn't meant to be. However, other people have totally misunderstood me.
Just a complete miscommunication and I don't think other people's replies helped, it only escalated the situation. One reply in particular from another driver was out of order.
I didn't think he was there. I deleted the last sentence because I realised it sounded a bit bitter. And 'better' wasn't the best adjective. Faster maybe. The top 3 in the World Tour are on another level to us IMO.
So yes, I should've paid more attention to what I was saying, and other drivers should've not have interpreted it in a false manner and delivered their opinions on here

I really hope we ge to see more N category races, i didn't know which car to cheer at start but seeing the Pantera on action was exciting

I was on the edge of my seat with the Pantera going around the track, the next GT World Tour needs more road car races

We didn't have anything scheduled today so I've just enjoyed myself chatting to the Drivers, Jimmy and Chris. Been a great day

Just waiting for dinner, then its our last night before we fly out tomorrow morning :)

In terms of what happened above I don't care to address any of it, but hang tight for the report guys :D

PS: Me and the British lads went to the Nurburgring Museum and punted each other repeatedly in a racing truck sim thing. Laughs were had, 10/10 best part of event. The penalty system in the Truck Sim was absolutely broken!

Sooooo is anyone gonna write impressions about the tyre model and something new?

Give them time, when they come back and aren't having tons of fun anymore then expect something. So basically come back this time tomorrow or the day after. ;)

I can also see them doing this at Circuit of the Americas with the FIAs blessing. Which IMO would be great as I am at that track at least once a month racing anyway and more now that they have a proper karting track there. It's only a 35 minute drive from my house using highway 130 and it's 85 MPH speed limit.

Upvote for Circuit of the Americas! I also live 30-45 minutes away from it.

Hey guys, I've been hoping the same thing as I live here in Austin as well.

I've been wondering how many hardcore GTS players were in my area, now I know there are at least a few! It would be cool to race each other online some day and maybe even race some Karts at COTA or K1.

Add me on PSN if you'd like, same name as my username here.

FR sent!

I loved this event, it was awesome racing. Pressure most have been incredible, and one of the things that stood out was just how clean the races were, i guess it helps when the world and the stewards are watching. But it also proves that it is the way to go for the best kind of races..

I would have liked a few races with more laps , but i can live with what we got... for now :)

Big respect to every player that made it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole event and congrats to everyone who took part. I was sat on the edge of my seat more times than I can count. Very entertaining!

I hope it's possible one day to spectate it through the game though. It would be great to be able to choose who/what to watch and being able to save the replays would be a brilliant bonus.

Strangest takeaway from this event, but also the coolest for me, Jimmy wants to get involved with my upcoming British Superstars Championship :D:tup:

Sounds good. Similar to the all British lobby you did.

Did 2nd and 3rd in the Nations Cup receive any prizes?
If they didn't, that's a shame, bearing in mind 3rd place arguably should've finished at least 2nd

Just that little trophy is it. If i had that watch though I would sell it on Ebay, too bling

That will be pretty awesome if that happens, the last one was good to watch already!
