I watched all three videos and the '204' video is the only one that seems 'ok' to me. The problem is the the camera isn't behind the car so it is hard to tell where the tires are in relation to the road. Someone else would have to give their opinion on these laps.

Thanks for your opinion ! I really think 204 is DQed, at the spoon corner I clearly just have only one tire on the tarmac...

But congrats for your lap time ! And I saw so many 2'16... You guys play with PSP Go or 2/3000 ?

Here are my datas.
See you !

I play with a GT pack PSP 3000, easyblast.
I'm sure if you continue competing, your game will improve.
Ask Detroitbb... he knows.

Good thing you didn't settle, Detroitbb.
I could have done more but I don't think I'll get to 2'15s.

Welcome Pitch!

I saw that you lead most challenges on the French boards and was hoping you might join us over here. :)

Now, you guys know me by now... I'm never satisfied... so I put in a few more laps while watching the Grammys on and off with my fiancée. Broke into the 2'14s within 5 or 6 laps... for some reason everything just felt easier tonight. Slight buzz may have helped... beer is good! But only for virtual driving. ;)

I'll get a video up when my lady is done with the TV.

All right, Youtubed:

3rd person reverse view to show 2 tires on tarmac at all times. No longer buzzing and I can't help but notice my inputs seem sloppy and delayed here, but it made for a faster lap nonetheless. Last split is a tenth slower than my previous lap, so the 2'14.7xx I predicted in that previous YouTube description is dead on. Not gonna try for that, though. :)

Screw it! I did this in the toilet. I was "pressed" for time so don't laugh at my horrible lap.

Challenge # 5 (02/01/2010 - 02/03/2010)
Toyota Yaris RS Turbo (J) '02 (S1/S1)
Tsukuba Circuit / Forward

I'll have everything updated tomorrow morning.

Hi there everyone! I have just registered and would like to join the time trial challenge.

I am currently working on a time for the Yaris challenge and will post up the necessary files shortly.

Tsukuba + Yaris = 1'10.xxx for me so far without tuning. I have a feeling 1'08 or better might be possible by the better drivers here.

My aim is a 1'09.xxx

Welcome PiTch_... we're glad you could make it!

That's a very fast lap time - way too fast for me!

👍

If my name was Seinfield the Mclaren Mercedes would be my Newman. I'm either understeering this beast or spinning it out. One extreme to the other.

I think I settled on a -25 or -30 rear toe setting to make the steering 'looser' - not sure what Glubags used, but something close to zero is my guess. At least you submitted a time and will get points! Seems that most people were quite busy this past weekend...

I'm currently at 1'10.366 and I hope (fingers crossed) that I'll be able to crack into the 1'09 mark. I don't think it'll be possible to knock a second and a half off my current time - it's not as if this car slides and loses grip. This challenge will be about the right line and getting the turns down perfectly (something that I'm not too proficient at).

You got it. I put the rear toe at zero for the SLR... will do the same for the Yaris soon. Haven't had a chance to run any laps for this 5th challenge yet, but I've got my PSP with me today so we'll see. :)

tdunster, your time was submitted at 11:40pm last night and won't count for Challenge 4. Sorry you missed the deadline. Times and points are updated.

I just read through the last couple of pages of the thread, I would rather have someone from the First Season continue with TAC. So Good Luck to you Glubags in keeping TAC going. I might compete in S3, but I honestly don't have the time to compete and run TAC by myself anymore.

1'09.746 without any tuning, but this is probably the most laps I've ever done before tuning. Wanted to try to squeeze everything I could out of the car.

Second split time was 0'37.110.

Unless I can find some suspension changes that will allow the car to understeer a LOT less, 1'08 is completely out of the question for me.

@ Detroitbb

Oh is it past midnight? I am just going by the time that the forums show for me since I believe I have it set to PST. But then again I don't know what timezone he plays in currently.

I'm sorry, niigaki... you're correct. I mistakenly thought the time submission was 11:59 pm - not the correct time of 11 pm PST.

I deserve a great, big 'DOH'!

:dunce:

1'09.298 after tuning.

I don't think I can find another 3 tenths. Maybe another tenth, maybe another few hundredths. It was pretty much perfect in terms of the exit speeds I was looking for from each corner. The last corner was especially good; probably the smoothest I'd taken it out of all my previous laps. Crossed the line at 139 km/h.
